This Perfect Day by The Saints. In my top ten. just for you Bas Thanks LIS. This song eg,is why I rate The Saints above The Ramones.Love The Ramones too,but this song, imo, beats everything The Ramones ever did. Edit.Epping.Ed Kuepper (think that's spelt right),the guitarist ,nowadays plays with Nick Cave and the Bad Seed.

The Ramones beat The Saints to the 'first album release draw' back in the day,but their "Stranded" album is a classic.Imo and quite a few others.

Kraftwerk: Tour de France. 1. Because Kraftwerk are great. 2. Because the Tour de France has just finished. Pogacar was untouchable. He averaged around 25mph for 2,121 miles. 3. I'm cycling to from Epping to Iron Acton tomorrow... without the aid of a peloton!

Synth sounds modern but I detect a touch of 60s about this song. Latter part of Fergals membership? Good band of course.

My sister had several Beatles LP' s in her younger years, her husband had then, a rather state of the art music system, he deemed that the Beatles were not suitable rubbish to be played upon said system ,he was a rather heavy metal type

I think they fitted both sets of that era, Lennon was ,what I think the ultimate " smooth talking guy" but his stage persona was definitely Rock and roll, fitting that " rockers" image

Cause moral outrage by beating yourself up.
