"Go Buddy Go" was a double A-side with "Peaches". I think they only played Go Buddy Go on TOTPs due to the slightly 'edgier' lyrics of Peaches. Fun fact. Looks like they never had a US hit...

Listening to Radio 6 yesterday, celebrating the 60th birthday of Wayne Coyne (lead singer of the Flaming Lips). Saw them on TV at Glastonbury a few years ago. Wayne came on stage in a pink fairy dress riding a white unicorn. Though worryingly enough I can't find the footage. C'mon, what's not to like?

As for 2020... Don't Look Back In Anger seems appropriate. Iconic song, released 4th off the album and still got to no1 such was their popularity at the time. '..you said the brains i jad went to my head.' Noel ran out of songs and hit a block after 3 albums and a b side album, literally vomited songs out for 6 years and then had to work harder to hit the same heights. Their last album is very underrated though, some real quality tracks. Love Oasis.

It was Australia Day the other day and I forgot to post one for our anti-podian friends. Men at Work: Overkill. NOT Down Under.

How about this Australian crooner? Radio 6 is a constant source of inspiration. Nick Cave: Into my arms.

I prefer this to Down Under, it's their best song in fact, a very underrated band, very talented, catchy tunes and good albums.
