Nice post Isla (honest !)...... will you be so enthusiastic if we end up in the 6th tier ?, because if Higgs stays that is certainly where we will end up.....or conference football (always struggling) at best.
The only way Bristol Rovers will ever get back into the league will be under new ownership (would stake my mortgage on that)......playing Nuneaton or Braintree year in year out will soon test everyones patience........ The 'uniqueness' of the conference will soon wear off.....
Higgs won't leave, so that is why I (and many others) are boycotting the club.

Brizzle....how true.....went to most games at Twerton in those early days....we were crap, but there was spirit and very little hatred in/about the club.
Sadly the atmosphere at Rovers now could only, at best, be described as toxic......fans have had enough, supporting and watching Rovers is a chore and not at all pleasurable....unlike the Twerton days...... Fans have very little trust in the club and confidence in our board must be at 0%.
Sad Sad times, I can't see us getting back into the league for at least 3 years, and that would only happen in Higgs and Co leave today and we would then need a massive rebuild program :-(

I am sure that the "novelty of playing Nuneaton or Braintree year in year out" would wear out very quickly, but I think that if I lived in Bristol whilst having absolutely no desire to see Rovers relegated out of the league, I would enjoy going to those grounds for a day out, providing the team actually plays a bit of football !!! Going or not going to a football match is a personal choice, (for most!, so sorry to my old mate Kev Spencer!) so I am not getting involved in all that. We all, after all, only want one thing and that is a bit of well overdue success, (oh and peace and love on the terraces). I also realise it is easy to sit over here and say I miss going to ALL the matches, if I had been to some more over the last few seasons I may well feel very differently !
