Looked all sorted, with the clean sheets and all
Last week it seemed mainly goalie mistakes
Only seen the highlights, but this week looked abysmal. Someone wrote that Connor Taylor isn’t match fit yet. Wassup?

While we were sorely lacking in defence, I don't think Connor Taylor should take all the blame as our defensive midfielders were missing in action.
The last 30-minute revival, while encouraging, should not hide the fact we looked nailed-on relegation material in the first half.

For a full 60 mins it was Men against Boys with Rovers hardly able to lay a foot on the ball, a trance like performance. It was fortunate for Rovers that best performing boro’ players Conn-Clarke and Ricky Jones were substituted through injury. Our defence is hardly sorted when you ship seven goals in two matches.
Connor Taylor was a little off the pace, and was unable at times to read the game as his old self, not a bad performance from him, but not up to his usual high standard.

That revival was not justified, don't get me wrong we were playing better at that point,as he had to chuck players in at 0-3, but losing 3-2 paints over all the cracks of the mistakes our manager made to cost us the last two heavy defeats. The points we lost so far this season have been down to his rubbish tactics, and the two victory's were against poor sides, and the Northampton one lucky come the end.

Just appears like our defence doesn't play as a unit, a team, and easily exploited by wilier opposition.
I think we should revert to a traditional 4 at the back to stop the rot.
We obviously miss Hunt, Senior and Taylor Moore yesterday.... maybe it's something to do with coaching, but we are poor along the whole of the back line with no marking or tracking and a Keep that rarely comes off his line at set pieces.

Good analysis post-match by MT
I liked his comment that there’s a bit of an ‘academy feel’ about the side at the moment
Need to toughen up and be more consistent
I still think it’ll come
