Andy Mangham was on the brink of joining the Real Madrid coaching staff only for the move to be scuppered due to the time a work permit could take to recieve.Possibly 9 months.
Although the deal may not be dead yet.
I think it likely Andy would of been part of the youth team set up.

Former Bristol Rovers coach reportedly set to leave League One side for Real Madrid role..By Daniel Hargraves
Andy Mangan left Bristol Rovers towards the end of last year and is currently on the coaching staff at Stockport Countyi2-prod.bristolpost.co.uk/incoming/article9535957.ece/ALTERNATES/s810/0_GettyImages-1762182337-3.jpgFormer Bristol Rovers coach and caretaker manager Andy Mangan is reportedly set to make a sensational move to Real Madrid to join Carlo Ancelotti's coaching staff. According to The Athletic, Mangan has been identified by the Spanish giants due to his strong relationship with manager Ancelotti's son Davide, who is assistant manager at Real, whom he met while on a coaching course. The reigning Spanish champions have reportedly been looking for an English coach with EFL experience while the report adds that Davide plans to take the 38-year-old with him when he eventually embarks on his own managerial career. It also states that Mangan is currently waiting on a work permit with no exact start date yet set. Currently on the coaching staff at Stockport County, Mangan left Rovers at the end of last November having taken caretaker charge of seven matches following the sacking of Joey Barton. The 38-year-old oversaw four wins, two draws and a defeat during that spell but departed when the club opted to hire Matt Taylor as their new permanent manager. Prior to his interim spell, Mangan had spent over two years in BS7 as part of Barton's coaching staff, having worked with him at Fleetwood Town, as the Gas endured relegation to League Two, enjoyed a dramatic promotion back to League One and then consolidated their place in the third tier. Stockport are currently top of League One, having won League Two last term, following an outstanding start to life back in the third tier which has incorporated three victories and a draw, including a 2-0 win at home to Rovers last month. If completed, the move would see Mangan join arguably the world's biggest football club while working with worldwide superstars such as Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr.
