For me, Millmoor.. I think the first outing was new years day 1990? One of the few 5 lost matches....?
On support club coach needing p*ss after a few new years eve parties.
Went a couple of times after....as I recall they had a Prince of Wales pub near Lady Diana pub and one of them went up in the 90s!
Also seen this fixture in Sheffield, trained it in from Matlock where I was based, and came out of the toilet (indoors and very plush) to see ball in net as Andy Dorman scored....we won 1-0.
I've never visited their new ground....any memories of Ellis?

Yep, was indeed one of the five only defeats , was there and what a cracker it was, lost 3-2 from memory but worth every penny of the admission fee, ‘Jock’ snapped one of The Miller’s legs in one of his trademark tackles which was unfortunate but they went on to secure all three points anyway in a not to be forgotten game beneath the cranes of the scrap yard.

Went to Millmoor once in the mid80s I think. 2-2 draw but I remember little of the game other than we were the better side and were disappointed with a point. Remember also the cranes and the scrapyard but that's about it

About '86/'87 . 1-0 away win . Nicky Tanner scored . The late Tim Carter magnificent in goal . Both celebrated 'down town' later that evening.

I saw Rovers win ( I think ) at the current New York Stadium.
A snowy Winter game, with Millers helping clear the pitch.I've a feeling we postponed the corresponding fixture late,so Rotherham United supporters travelled a long way for no football match
A stadium I like, the roof looks a bit like one of those optical illusions of a staircase that forever goes upwards,or perhaps downwards, depending on which way you're going.
Think I went with Rex,does anyone still see him?My regards please if so.
Maybe Ellis Harrison scored for Rovers.

Indeed the 1-0 victory in 86/87 was courtesy of a Nick Tanner goal....my next door neighbour is Nick Tanners son who has been brought up by his dad to be a Liverpool fan.
Sadly my clearest memory of seeing my neighbours father play was the previous season away at Kenilworth Road in the days when Luton Town had a plastic pitch.
The outcome being a 4-0 defeat in the FA Cup, it was a farce of a game as Rovers never really came to terms with the surface.
My other memory of that game was Paul Randall being on the bench as 12th man.

Looked like some fat bloke fresh out of the pub and played like it too
