So I can take my two grandsons to the fun event of the year, and get free rides ( subject to availability ) and possibly even a one man band tor a bargain price of £15.
Or I could just go to Gloucester Road watch a half decent pub band for free, washed down with three or four pints of Guinness.
I think I just have to be the stingy old grandad. who puts himself first when faced.with a ‘no Brainer situation’

If it was free it would probably go a long way to showing families that the club cares about the community which could in turn encourage more fans to come to games. Fully agree with your point in that. |

Apparently, in response to popular concerns, the plans have been changed and revitalised...MT is going to be doing 30 minutes of stand up, Jevani Brown is going to do his disappearing act, the chairman is going to be playing hide and seek, and there's a highlights reel of the final 15 games of last season. Entrance is free but you have to pay a tenner to get out... |

Seems a tad short sighted and mean to charge fans for what has been a positive community event. I think it’s a shame and hope it’s not a sign of the times. I quite like how these owners have approached certain things but not others. It’s hard to win everyone over but this particular event looks as if they’ve not had good advice although they must have been around this time last year.
And it must be a real winner for future gasheads with all the young children who come with their families.
