Rovers are in for 20 year old West Ham United u21s captain a central defender Michael Forbes on loan. He was an unused sub last season at the Mem in the Hammers 3 1 victory when his fellow Northern Ireland striker Callum Marshall scored twice. Be great to get both of them in on loan.

Northern Ireland’s Callum Marshall with manager Michael O’NeillA report from last year:West Ham striker Callum Marshall has been recalled to the Northern Ireland squad for the upcoming home UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers. Michael O’Neill has named a 25-strong panel which shows 4 changes from the squad originally picked for last month’s Euro qualifiers. Returning to the fold is Callum Marshall, who made his senior debut against Denmark back in June 2023. The striker was with the Under-21s in September last year, however his fine goalscoring form with West Ham’s U21s in Premier League 2 this season. He has scored 12 goals in 9 outings to date - has led to his return to senior duty. He was also named on the bench for the West Ham first team’s Carabao Cup tie against Lincoln City last year.

Forbes now confirmed as season long loan can't see if Connolly or Hoole will stay and perhaps Wilson is being offered out on loan?
