Completely... A former president almost got killed, and sadly one tragic person lost their life, along with two others that are gravely injured. All in the name of politics? The left honestly disgust me.As you perfectly summarized with your points. Where are the anti Trump'ers on here condemning last nights killing, and the assassination attempt? Ridiculous. They are no where.. Do you really think it is necessary for those of us who think that Trump is an appalling human being and a disgrace as President of the USA, to come on here and condemn violence of any sort? It goes without saying. Oh dear. Still, coming from a former Badaer Meinof supporter, not surprising.

Biden as I've stated on here should be removed due his mental capacity along with the fact that he is clearly a older, ill man.And that's despite how deplorable, and satanic his past actions have been.I still don't enjoy to see him suffer as I have a soul. Yet some on the left rejoiced in what happened yesterday...look at Yatton and his response to the act. Disgusting.

BM/Red army faction = appalling human beings....only one (who had become disenchanted with them) did a decent thing and refused to accept his freedom because a terrorist act was being committed and he didnt want to be associated with that. Appalling people but some clever work in coordinating their own deaths....

This was either an inside job on Trump eg: Like JFK...or this individual was inspired by wreckless, left wing rhetoric, that spurred on his actions. Given his announced age,it suggests to me that he was inspired and indoctrinated by what we were debating last week,in regards to the brainwashing the left wing does in the university system over there, and here. You,the left constantly called Trump a racist, fascist and a bigot, brainwashing impressible youth in to evil acts like this, and those words - which are completely un-factual have now come home to roost.

Sadly, people in power need to be very careful with their rhetoric. This was Trump speaking after the attempt on Nancy Pelosi and after her husband was nearly beaten to death with a hammer. Judge for yourself about his fitness to be President. x.com/brianklaas/status/1812328254499647796

As for judging him on whether he is fit to be president... Well, the fist after being shot tells you my answer.✊

Politicians across the board must be careful what they say and do.
We live in dangerous times with dangerous people.

That this is an eye for an eye? That's the sort of talk I would expect from the lunatics on the religious extremes

The Democrats/Biden should concede defeat now and step aside,Trump will win anyway but a sensible decision by the Democrats to step aside now would stop further violence and help to heal America which is a disintegrating society...Putin & co rubbing their hands right now.

That would be an unmitigated disaster. That just tells the extremists that if they are violent enough then democratic processes will be set aside. Putin would be indeed be rubbing his hand in glee at that prospect. Fortunately that is not going to happen

tbh Bas i think that Labour MPs like Jess Phillips will be in just as much danger. Agreed Would be nice to have a sensible conversation about such issues without descending into extremist rhetoric Part of the problem with discussing this is that Phillips herself is being disingenuous a blaming "men" whe in reality its religious extremists who just happen to be mostly men. No one can say that its a tiny lunatic fringe either that anti semite nutter opposing Phillips nearly beat her and slashed a 13,000 majority to 700. Now then, why wouldnt Phillips be more honest ? partly because she blames "men" for all societies ills but also because she is frightened of being called a racist if she told the whole truth, thats where we are as a society now too.

Bits of that. I suspect there is a longer game being played here. Labour will want to get the ethnic minority voters back on board (Muslims in this case). That's going to take a while and it won't be achieved by pandering to those who think they can intimidate anyone they disagree with, whatever cause they invoke. Weed out the extremists and bring the centre back in. In this instance a cease fire in Gaza would take the sting out of it. Which is why we need to avoid alienating people with stupid rhetoric, in order to avoid exactly what has just happened in the States.

We should remain 100% behind Israel and come down on UK Islamists like a ton of bricks. For too long these lunatics have had their way.

Personally I think that its gone beyond weeding out the extremists in fact they have weeded themselves out set up as independents and in this case almost beat Phillips...what happens if they get their act together set up a united party and bring all their potential voters aboard ?

They win one or two seats, like Reform. Single issue parties always crash and burn

You assume that " they" are Democrats, just remember there are plenty within the Republican party that do not like DT .... Come on.....I get what you are trying to suggest, but this was either a crazy..woke,Democrat or it was a deepstate hit job. Im going with the latter. They know that they can't beat Trump, so they tried to kill him. One of the most iconic moments in modern day history was last night when he raised his fist and yelled "fight".. The 20 year old ,alleged to have shot at Trump, a kitchen worker.. registered Republican voter....
