Saturday 15th June 2024 - ICC Men's T20 World Cup - Result
South Africa - 115-7 (20 overs) Hendricks 43, Stubbs 27 not out, Bhurtel 4-19
Nepal - 114-7 (20 overs) Aasif Sheikh 42, Sah 27, Bhurtel 13, Shamsi 4-19
South Africa win by 1 run
Report by Sam Drury, BBC Sport journalist.
South Africa needed a dramatic late turnaround to beat Nepal by one run in a nail-biting T20 World Cup encounter.
Needing two to win from the last ball, or one to force a super over, Nepal's Gulsan Jha was run out trying to run a single to the wicketkeeper.
In a remarkable finale, Jha missed a short ball from Ottniel Baartman and started running, the throw from keeper Quinton de Kock deflected off the batter's back to Heinrich Klaasen and the fielder threw down the stumps.
After restricting South Africa to 115-7 in Kingstown, Nepal were well on their way to a victory that would have kept their Super 8s hopes alive.
However, Tabraiz Shamsi (4-19) struck twice in a game-changing 18th over and Baartman defended seven runs in the last as the Proteas maintained their 100% record in the tournament to eliminate a heartbroken Nepal.
Meanwhile, New Zealand earned their first win of the competition with a nine-wicket demolition of Uganda in Trinidad.
Tim Southee took 3-4 as the already-eliminated Black Caps skittled Uganda for 40 before knocking off the runs in 5.2 overs.

New Zealand - 41-1 (5.2 overs) Conway 22 not out, Allen 9
New Zealand win by 9 wickets
Report by Sam Drury, BBC Sport journalist.
New Zealand's exit from the tournament had been confirmed late on Thursday but Kane Williamson's side responded with an emphatic win over Uganda.
The Black Caps were on top from the first over as Trent Boult took two wickets in two balls and Uganda soon slumped to 15-5 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.
Kenneth Waiswa made 11 and was the only Uganda batter to reach double figures, while no Kiwi bowler conceded more than nine.
After wickets in successive balls from Southee in the 18th over, Mitchell Santner wrapped up the innings in the 19th.
Devon Conway then made an unbeaten 22 from 15 balls as New Zealand completed the win in barely a quarter of their allotted overs.

Saturday 15th June 2024 - ICC Men's T20 World Cup - Result
India v Canada - Match Abandoned without a ball bowled
Report by Mike Peter, BBC Sport Journalist.
The T20 World Cup's Florida-based matches continued to be blighted by bad weather as India's game with Canada was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
All three matches scheduled for Lauderhill have now fallen to the elements, with the ground suffering the effects of heavy rainfall over the last week.
The abandonment has no effect on the outcome of Group A, with India already qualified for the Super 8s and eliminated Canada's tournament now at an end.
India's next match will be in the second stage on Thursday against Afghanistan, while Lauderhill is due to stage its final match, Pakistan against Ireland, on Sunday.

Sunday 16th June 2024 - ICC Men's T20 World Cup - Result
Scotland - 180-5 (20 overs) McMullen 60, Berrington 42 not out, Munsey 35, Maxwell 2-44
Australia - 186-5 (19.4 overs) Head 68, Stoinis 59, David 24 not out, Watt 2-44
Australia win by 5 wickets
Report by George O'Neill, BBC Sport Scotland.
England are through to the T20 World Cup Super 8s after Australia battled past an excellent Scotland side in St Lucia.
England's rain-interrupted win over Namibia earlier on Saturday meant Scotland needed a win to progress, while Australia were already through to the next stage.
Travis Head and Marcus Stoinis both made half-centuries as Mitchell Marsh's side chased down their target of 181 with two balls to spare.
Scotland have impressed throughout this tournament and flourished again here, unfazed by their big-name opponents.
It looked like they might struggle when Michael Jones was dismissed for two, but Brandon McMullen led the way with a superb 60 from 34 balls as the Scots posted the highest total made against Australia by an associate team.
McMullen and George Munsey (35) added 89 for the second wicket, before captain Richie Berrington made 42 from 31 balls to help set a competitive total.
In reply, David Warner, Marsh and Glenn Maxwell all fell cheaply and Scotland looked well placed to pull off a seismic shock.
However, Head timed his innings to perfection and alongside the powerful Stoinis, he wrestled back the momentum.
Tim David finished the job with a mighty six to break Scottish hearts and keep England's World Cup defence alive.

Sunday 16th June 2024 - ICC Men's T20 World Cup - Result
Ireland - 106-9 (20 overs) Delany 31, Little 22 not out, Wasim 3-8, Shaheen 3-22
Pakistan - 111-7 (18.5 overs) Babar 32 not out, Rizwan 17, Ayub 17, McCarthy 3-15
Pakistan win by 3 wickets
Report by Sam Drury, BBC Sport journalist.
Pakistan held on to claim a nervy three-wicket win over Ireland as disappointing T20 World Cup campaigns for both sides came to an end at Lauderhill.
A low-scoring game was still in the balance going into the 19th over but two big sixes from Shaheen Afridi settled it in Pakistan's favour with seven balls to spare.
Babar Azam's side got off to a brilliant start, with Afridi taking two wickets in the first over before Ireland slipped to 4-3 in the second.
None of the top five reached double figures but counter-attacking knocks from Gareth Delany, who hit 31 off 19 balls, and Josh Little, who made 22 not out, got Ireland up to 106-9.
Pakistan appeared to be cruising in the chase but lost four wickets for 10 runs to slump to 62-6 after 11 overs.
Babar remained, though, and, while never close to his fluent best, he managed to hold the innings together with a patient unbeaten 32.
Despite a battling effort in Florida, Ireland finish bottom of Group A without a win, while Pakistan had also already been eliminated from Super 8s contention.
This was the last match of the tournament to be held in the USA, with the remainder of the competition being played in the Caribbean.

Tuesday 18th June 2024 - ICC Men's T20 World Cup - Result
West Indies - 218-5 (20 overs) Pooran 98, Charles 43, Powell 26, Gulbadin 2-14
Afghanistan - 114 all out (16.2 overs) Zadran 38, Azmatullah 23, McCoy 3-14
West Indies win by 104 runs
Match report by Matthew Henry, BBC Sport Journalist in St Lucia.
Nicholas Pooran hit a stunning 98 as West Indies prepared for a Super 8s match against England at the T20 World Cup with a 104-run victory over Afghanistan.
With both sides already through to the next stage, co-hosts West Indies dispatched a much-fancied Afghanistan side with a statement win in St Lucia.
Pooran's eight sixes helped the co-hosts rack up 218-5 - the highest score of the tournament so far.
They were 85-1 after five overs with 36 runs coming from the fourth, including three Pooran sixes, a no-ball and five wides - equalling the record for the most expensive over in men's T20s.
Having taken down Afghan superstar Rashid Khan, left-hander Pooran was run out in the final over desperately trying to keep the strike in search of three figures.
But West Indies dominance continued into Afghanistan's chase when Akeal Hosein had Rahmanullah Gurbaz caught for a three-ball duck in a wicket maiden to start.
From there the hosts found breakthroughs regularly and Afghanistan were bowled out for 114 in 16.2 overs.
Obed McCoy took three wickets and spinners Akeal and Gudakesh Motie two apiece.
The victory concludes the initial group stage of this compelling World Cup, which now moves on to its second phase with eight teams battling across two groups to secure a semi-final place.
West Indies and England meet on Wednesday (Thursday 01:30 BST) at this ground.

Report by Tom Mallows, BBC Sport journalist.
South Africa survived a scare before beating USA by 18 runs in the first game of the Super 8s at the T20 World Cup in Antigua.
After slipping to 76-5 in pursuit of 195, a superb partnership worth 91 between Andries Gous and Harmeet Singh gave USA hope of a stunning victory.
They needed just 28 from 12 balls but the 19th over from Kagiso Rabada went for just two runs and included the wicket of Harmeet to drag the game back in South Africa's favour.
The final over from Anrich Nortje went for just seven as South Africa held on for the win.
Gous ended unbeaten on 80 after a brilliant knock that included five fours and five sixes, while Rabada was the pick of the Proteas bowlers taking 3-18.
Quinton de Kock earlier top-scored for South Africa with a sublime 74 from 40 balls, with seven fours and five sixes.

On his 30-run over: "It was a little bit tougher in the middle with the spin. Since [Kieron Pollard] has come in, he's said you can go eight at one side and 12 at the other and I've had that in my head and tried to attack the pace bowlers." Tough to settle to conditions? "There's a lot of different factors which can affect it. There was a period where I didn't face many balls. In general, it was a very good wicket." On Jonny Bairstow's innings: "It was crucial. Once Jos got out, I had to step up. Jonny came in and took the pressure off and too smart, calculated risks." England captain Jos Buttler: "I thought that was a really good performance from us. "We've been practising well and I thought we executed really, really well and deserved the win." On chasing 180: "Yeah, I thought we bowled really well to restrict such a powerful line-up of great six-hitters. It's still a decent score and you have to bat well to chase them down. "I thought we were very smart with the bat, the guys were very calculated when they took their options on. The Bairstow-Salt partnership was so good. "Jonny came in with great intent and took the momentum straight back and Salty tucked in behind him for a bit then he got that one big over to real break the back of it." On Adil Rashid: "We kept saying he's our most important player. He has been for a really long time, he's got so much variation and threat of taking wickets but also restricting runs." On Jonny Bairstow: "He batted at number four again today. He's a class player and has been for a really long time. "You just keep backing class players. He hasn't had many opportunities but today was a really impressive innings, a mature, senior player's innings with a lot of power. "He scored at a great lick when the game was in the balance." Confidence-boosting win? "Definitely. A really good performance. A lot of players say you learn when you lose but I believe you learn when you win as well. "It's important for us to reflect on what we did well today then focus on the next one."

Aussie comes unstuck and fail to qualify for semi finals, after the earlier " tongue in cheek" quip that they may " work out" with Scotland in the group stage how to eliminate England, Afghanistan beat Bangladesh in a low scoring game, 🏏🏏.in the super 8 and the Aussie dream fell apart..not crying 😂😂. Honestly 🤭🤭

Afghanistan were bowled out for 56 - the lowest score in a T20 World Cup semi-final - when batting first at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy. South Africa chased it down in 8.5 overs for the loss of just one wicket but only after numerous uncomfortable moments for their batters on a pitch with extremely inconsistent bounce. "It was ugly really," former England seamer Finn said on TMS. "The pitch just deteriorated and it led to not a great spectacle for a T20 game. "It would have been fascinating on day five of a Test match but for a T20, it wasn't up to scratch." England World Cup winner Hartley added: "You want an even contest. What this pitch has done is take batting completely out of the game. "It's an actual shambles."

Thursday 27th June 2024 - ICC Men's T20 World Cup - Semi-Final - Result
India - 171-7 (20 overs) Sharma 57, Yadav 47, Pandya 23, Jadeja 17 not outJordan 3-37
England - 103 all out (16.4 overs) Brook 25, Buttler 23, Archer 21, Yadav 3-19, Patel 3-23
India win by 68 runs
India captain Rohit Sharma: "It's very satisfying to win this game. We worked really hard as a unit. To win like that was a great effort from everybody. "We adapted to the conditions. They were really challenging. If we play according to the conditions, things fall into place."
England captain Jos Buttler: "India outplayed us. We let them maybe get 20-25 too many on a challenging surface that they played well on. They fully deserved to win. "We played good cricket in patches but unfortunately came up short when we needed it most."
Player of the match, India bowler Axar Patel: "I knew that the wicket was stopping and had something for the bowlers. I just tried to bowl in good areas. "Our batters told us the pitch wasn't easy to hit the ball. We felt it was a good total."
