Despite a year left on his contract our former manager Darrell Clarke is leaving the Gloucestershire club.
Seems a big surprise to many I am sure.
Wish him well he is still only 46 years old

Gary Johnson gets the DOF job at Whaddon Road.
There's Robins chitter chatter wondering if Johnson Junior is to be the new Manager.

I personally think that VK has it about him to become a very sought after manager, true Burnley failed in the Premier league this time, that league is all about having to spend money to survive, clubs like Burnley just don't have it....but the way they had charged though the Championship the previous season gives alight as to his potential .be an interesting watch

For Bayern, it isn't enough to win the league. You have to compete in the later stages of the champions league. VC hasn't even managed at any level in a European competition. McKenna also being strongly linked with the Man Utd job, despite never having managed in the PL. Frank with both Chelsea and Man Utd. Look at Ferguson's record before becoming Man Utd manager. People sneer at David Moyes, but he had actually managed a small club into the CL when manager of Everton, and did an extremely good job at West Ham. Same with Allardyce.

I assume he will have a bigger budget there than he has at any previous club. Will be interesting to see if he can get a club into the championship or if league one seems to be his limit. I still think he's the best manager we have had since Gerry Francis, and think with the right board, budget etc could have taken us much further.

Yes, I think he has that in him, and he was marvellous for us, until he wasn't, and that's more than forgiven, having taken us from low forth to high third division, and made us a proper team along the way. Good luck to the man.
