Cashley (ex 82) was awful at Rovers. So many soft goals conceeded. You only have to look at this bristolroversmemorabilia.weebly.com/1984-85.html it's littered with Cashley errors it's a crying shame because that was such a good Rovers Team, as I recall it was something like 15 players used all season, we fell away after Xmas (again) when David Williams was injured. I could name that team from memory and you could nominate at least 4 of them for an all time team. Same for me, that was the time I really got into Rovers in a big way. Hard to understand as we had Phil Kite too.

Cashley on the other hand would make my all time worst 11 alongside other “greats” like Andy Spring, Football equivalent of a road cone Rob Quinn, the Kenneth/Riordan combo and Bobs Newton and Lee. He was truly awful
