Liam Gallagher has hit back at critics after being blasted by boxing fans online for his performance before Daniel Dubois' stunning win over Anthony Joshua at Wembley on Saturday night. The 52-year-old performed several songs before the bout as he prepares to reunite with his brother, Noel Gallagher, for a special Oasis tour next year. Not everybody was impressed, however, with some users online taking aim at his performance. Some called it 'dire', while others called for Oasis to refund fans who have purchased tickets for their upcoming tour. Gallagher has, however, now hit back. One fan asked the singer what he made of the criticism he received after rousing Wembley on Saturday night. And Gallagher, true to form, held no punches as he made his feelings clear. "F**K THEM S***KBUBBLES," he wrote on X. Gallagher performed on his 52nd birthday and another fan asked him if he had any birthday cake to celebrate the occasion. He hilariously replied: "Yes. It was f*****g dangerous." When asked what gifts he received, he added: "I got a buttons hoody it's BIBLICAL." When quizzed further on his 'haters', he continued: "I love the haters I hope I wreck there (sic) face."

Read this on GB News,so I'll put it in this thread.
Heinz have apologised after a poster advert, displayed at a couple of London Underground stations recieved complaints.
It showed a wedding reception top table, enjoying spaghetti,Heinz naturally. The groom white, bride black.Parents of the groom are there, but only the mum of the bride.
Absent black father. This is why the advert recieved complaints.
It does'nt seem fair on black fathers, whatever the statistics tell us.
I wonder what the stats are, on women left with babies as the black father effectively disappears?
Marcus Rashford did'nt mention it.

These posts are becoming ever more incredulous. Can anyone really believe that Heinz would deliberately put out an ad, believing it would be reflecting a view of one demographic? One that, given the size of the company, is most likely to form a large part of it's customer base? One that risks being deemed as prejudicial. This sort of BS is akin to the MAGA loonies who are claiming the democrats control hurricanes. Frankly, embarrassing.

Adding to the posts on the US Election thread..GB News fined £100k for 'breaking impartiality rules' over Rishi Sunak interview..by Lucy NeedhamActing Showbiz Editori2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incoming/article33779900.ece/ALTERNATES/s1200d/0_Conservative-Party-Conference-2024-Day-One.jpgOfcom said it has imposed a £100,000 fine on GB News for “breaking due impartiality rules” following an interview with the former prime minister Rishi Sunak earlier this year. The media watchdog began an investigation into GB News three days after the airing of a programme on February 12 titled People’s Forum: The Prime Minister, which saw Mr Sunak answer questions from a studio audience and a presenter. In a statement, Ofcom said: “We concluded that the then prime minister, Rishi Sunak, had a mostly uncontested platform to promote the policies and performance of his Government in a period preceding a UK general election, in breach of Rules 5.11 and 5.12 of the Broadcasting Code. “Given the seriousness and repeated nature of this breach, Ofcom has imposed a financial penalty of £100,000 on GBNews Limited. We have also directed GBNews to broadcast a statement of our findings against it, on a date and in a form determined by us. “GBNews is challenging our original breach decision in this case by judicial review, which we are defending. Ofcom will not enforce this sanction decision until those proceedings are concluded.” The channel previously lost a High Court challenge to temporarily block Ofcom from sanctioning it, with GB News’ lawyers arguing that it would cause “irreparable damage” to its reputation.

Nigel Farage's message as GB News posts record figures following first TV interview with Allison Pearson..by GB News Reporter i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2021/07/29/13/46044589-9839173-image-a-87_1627560058491.jpgNigel Farage has declared "GB News is here to stay" as he heralded record viewing figures for the People's Channel. In an exclusive video message to GB News members, without who the Channel would not be where it is today, he said: "Big progress for GB News. "It was very nice of Elon Musk to tweet how well we had done. With this show beating Sky and the BBC added together. Yesterday was GB News best day ever, beating Sky across the whole of the day by quite a big margin, so we're not going anywhere. "It seems much of the rest of media is really in a bit of a state, almost in tears. "And the Guardian now leaving X will tell you what we know where we are, we know who we are, we're making progress and we're here to stay." Yesterday GB News had the first televised interview with Telegraph columnist and award-winning writer Allison Pearson who is being investigated by Essex Police for allegedly stirring up racial hatred in a social media post last November. The force has refused to tell her any details about which post on X, formerly Twitter, is being investigated, or who made the complaint against her. Elon Musk reacted to Nigel Farage's GB News interview with Pearson, tweeting "this is insane." Pearson, 64, sat down with Farage to discuss the ordeal and claimed it was both "shocking" and "surreal". Pearson told GB News: "Because it was Remembrance Sunday I drew myself up and told them [the police officers] we are here today on a special day commemorating hundred of men your age who laid down their lives for the country so that it could be a free country and not live under the jackboot of tyranny. "Here you are on Remembrance Sunday, coming to my house in something that I see to be against freedom." Responding to GB News' live stream on X, Musk said: "This is insane. Make Orwell Fiction Again!"

Well, they can't charge her without informing her of what the charge entails and provide her solicitor with details. Secondly, this is what the Tory legislation, which was criticised for the way it was drawn up, has brought us. It all seems very strange that the police can interview someone without telling them what exactly they have done.
