A meeting of the current worse FCs in the division,Cotswold Robins and The Gas.You could add Burton Albion to the short list too.
BBC Radio Glos chap has told us a certain Mathew Taylor might be back from injury for this one.Well he said MT told him 'I would love to be back for this one'.I got the impression it unlikely, but how Town could do with him.
I'm told Cheltenham have been very poor now for quite sometime, but they find themselves still in with a 'punchers' chance of remaining 3rd tier.
As for Rovers, well it's a load of old rubbish, is'nt it. The game will offer experience for those staying for next season. I hope Brown never plays alone upfront for Roversever again. I always think us a better team with Luke Thomas on one flank and Harvey Vale on the other.I was told Harvey is on £10,000 a week at Chelsea, so that gives you some idea of our chances of signing him. I wonder if Jordan Rossitter will get a run out. Can't help thinking our style might 'miss him out'.Madness of course,as he's our best player. Etc.
Radio Bristol for me as I've still got the dreaded lurg.
Have a good day those popping up the M5.

No point whatsoever, runs like crazy up until the point of a challenge then backs off, fearing, I guess, to get his shorts dirty. He owes us big time considering us taking a punt on him with his awful baggage. Can’t see it coming anytime soon. get well soon.

Tough one for the bookies to call... Generally: Cheltenham win 11/10 Gas win 5/2 Draw 12/5 Rovers not to score (again) 4/9. Have a safe and pleasant trip to the Cotswolds Gasheads.

We reached rock bottom against Reading and we'll turn it around today, providing he picks his best players in their best positions and stops the experimenting.

Wish he had done that against Reading rather than Cheltenham as I’d like to see the latter survive the drop - not that I don’t want us to beat them mind……

Was surprised when I looked at his career stats after signing for us. Aside from last season he is not prolific in front of goal. Based on what I have seen to date, I would not be sorry if he never plays for us again, never mind as a lone striker

(for me) welcome back, Bas. Nice o p.
Tough choices today for this one....I mean, flip flops or sandals!?
Overpaid, non interested, and some only have a four game potential to ever see again in Gas shirt....make the most of this spectacular festival!
I'll plump for a 1-0 Gas win. Deflected own goal. Won't be easy, they're playing for their lives.
Safe journey everyone and enjoy the next sh!t show...

Brown's a Rovers failure. Run, run, quit. Run, run, give up. Run, run, lose interest. Run, run, miss. Can leave.

He's like a bloke in the park getting a stray ball bouncing in his direction. He flicks it onto his head, nods it down to his knee, flicks it upp again, does a few bobbles and hoofs it back to them, and doesn't even get a thank you.

A sucker for punishment I'll be up at another ungodly hour to watch. God knows why as I can only see yet another loss.
You can but live in hope though.
2-1 Robins.

If you weren't so clearly a sadomasochist, I'd advise you and do something more enjoyable....like sticking pins in your eyes or ripping your finger-nails out with a plier.

I think he's more like the bloke in the park who does the keepy uppies and then boots it over someone's fence onto the greenhouse and walks away whistling as if nothing has happened. Bit like the rest of the team bar a couple. Chelts will battle like a typical DC side. Our lot will hate it. Going for a 3-0 thumping with Jed Ward getting our token shot on target. I have lost faith in the team and am losing faith in MT's ability to motivate this side above anything other than apathy.

If unlucky Alf had a football team it would be BRFC. Oh bugger.

I have lost faith in the team and am losing faith in MT's ability to motivate this side above anything other than apathy. Agree about the team, but disagree about Taylor, whose record over twenty-eight games is unacceptable, but way better than his predecessor. | P | Divisions | W | D | L | W% | W/L (W-L) | JB | 28 | 3rd to 4th | 6 | 3 | 19 | 21.4% | 0.316 (-13) | MT | 28 | 3rd | 9 | 4 | 15 | 32.1% | 0.600 (-6) |
EDIT: I've re-read what you wrote about Taylor's 'ability to motivate this team', with which I do agree, regarding this team. He needs the club to recruit much better this close season, of course.

Subs. Ward,Gordon,Taylor,Conteh,McCormick,Hoole,Aguilera.

Eight changes and Cox returns to replace Ward. Jordan Rossiter a start after a long period out since Dec 2022 out injured.
Brown completely out of the squad as is Marquis.
Time for replacements to show there worth.
