A good article in the Telegraph this morning, with an emphasis on the cost of us living longer in retirement, the rump of us "Baby Boomers" now coming out of the workforce aligned with a stagnant or even declining birth rate.
The implications for our country's finance are huge.
We could go the Reform Party route and promise slash taxation and pretend it adds up.
We could go the Reform Party / Tory Right Wing route and ignore it then blame everything on Muslims. (AND Jews and any non white person as we descend into that horrific abyss)
Or we could have a grown up discussion about how we make all this add up. And vote accordingly.
And pigs might fly.
Just for a laugh I searched for my life expectancy from where I am now, I am 72, and to my disbelief (and horror) I was told by an actuarial source that I could expect 14 more years! The Government ONS confirmed.
I started to panic, sh*t 14 more years of this...then I had a thought...I could give my old mate Nobby a tinkle...yes, and relax.😂😂
