Superb article in the latest edition of the Oldie about Billy Wright.Sent it top a fervent Wolves fan and he has messaged me thus.Lived near there in Stafford at the time but don't recall the game he refers to.

Geoff thanks for the article it was very informative- in a recent Wolves programme Billy Wright’s career was featured - also to you more importantly was a piece about a game in 1985 (which I went to) against the Gas heads at Molineux - we were 3 nil up when a certain gentleman called Gerry Francis got involved and you won 4-3 - the crowd that day was just over 3,000 and we were relegated to division 4 - how times have changed
