This just means more tax and bureaucracy - Richard Tice..ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/800/cpsprodpb/vivo/live/images/2024/7/17/945110fe-366c-4c95-b75b-06952635a8c9.jpgWe're starting to get reaction now to the King's Speech and the government's plans. Reform UK's deputy leader - the newly elected MP Richard Tice - says while there were "warm words", he believes every announcement "represents more taxes, more bureaucracy, more regulation". On the creation of GB Energy, Tice says the increased investment in renewables will "add to costs" so people will have to pay for "more expensive energy".

Did he fit those calculations on the back of an envelope?

Apparently a bloody great big Sturmey Archer Dynamo driven by an effing big wheel itself driven by wind. All this to be built in Clacton. You heard it here first

Rumours of Suella Braverman joining Reform are abound. Best place for her. Nobody else wants her. From Home Secretary and potential party leader with the Tories, to a bit part in a fringe party. Couldn't have happened to a nicer woman π

Couldn't have happened to a nicer woman π Over 4,000,000 votes. 98 second place constituencies of which 89 were won by Labour. 5 MPs.

Blimey I know that education is not a pre requisite for joining Reform, but even my 6 year old grand children know that India and Jamaica are not in Africa. The mind boggles

Come on Oldie if Obama's Irish ,if Biden is Irish,if Kennedy was Irish and if Megain Markle ( a rumoured future Democrat politician π ) is black African, then Kamala is "black African",until she visits India ,in which case she'll be brown Indian. International chameleons.

Just another point of view than yours, that actually suggests how petty your criticism of Farage is.You're trying too hard I suppose. One grandparent was Irish enough for Jack Charlton's team.

Just try to accept your criticism of the MP for Clacton on Sea was made too hastily, due to your quite demented hatred of the man and you're wrong. I realise you're still angry about losing the Brexit referendum and Nigels decision to stay and lead Reform to recent relitive success, but its clouding your judgement. Put that energy towards eg cheering on the Rovers.

Coming from nowhere, and the support they have generated has obviously got you rattled. Most people are concerned over the possible upcoming car crash that is the Labour government. They have a huge majority with just over 9 million votes. Reform got 4 million votes and have a small amount of MP's. Reform are on the rise, the Tories are still in freefall. The next election will be interesting, especially as nobody expects Labour to improve things.
