I know the tories can be blamed for most things , but Rickets etc ?
To me it’s people ( mostly youngsters ) would rather a Mac Donald’s / kfc for there tea / kids tea , than cook a proper veg / meat tea
We recently looked after 2 youngsters from next door while mum had to go into hospital , apparently these 2 won’t eat vegetables , it’s chips , beans , kfc etc , mrs cooked a stew / veg & they demolished it , strawberries / rasperies for afters , did them a roast / steak etc with veg & ate the lot , lashings of gravy
I’m afraid youngsters ( a large majority) just can’t be bothered to cook / prepare proper meal for themselves / kids , ring up & get a take away delivered
As I say not sure how the tories are to blame for poor eating habits , it’s down to the parents to feed there kids properly
Nb I remember my mum making me sit at the table from tea time until 11 pm until I ate the cold sprouts !!
