Really pleased to see it. I had decided not to go but now I’ve got a ticket and taking a mate for £20 all in.

If the official web-site is up to date - looks like South Stand is still less than half sold? Hopefully all walk-ins will be pointed in that general direction. Would be a real shame not to get 75%.

It's a lovely offer and well done the club for championing it ..... But:
Anyone who stumped up a few quid to buy a season ticket has paid more for their place.
There's winners and not so much winners in every situation, just pointing this out.

I noticed that too. Weather, the opponent and our current malaise all a factor. Wonder if they will it again for Saturday if they don’t get 75% tonight. The way our season is now it would be worth their while to offer a tenner a game for the rest of the season but take O2’s point. Saw an Exeter fan moaning on Twitter that they’re paying £26 for the same stand.

I’d be curious to know what the club are/have done to make it up to some of them. I’d be quite miffed. Planning to buy a season ticket next season but unsure where to sit

I can't see how charging supporters of different teams in the same stand different prices can be legal. I'd expect us to refund Exeter fans the difference.

In the words of Chris Martins agent, nobody there has a clue. 😁

I love that sketch from Not the Nine O’Clock news. “Wild? I was absolutely livid”

I was absolutely livid” They were loving the result but not the disorganisation within the South Stand. Most of the seat numbers didn't correspond to the tickets as the tickets were originally sold for the little temporary stand erected during the new stand construction, that fixture was postponed but the tickets remained valid. The stewards were insisting that they sat in the correct seats until eventually they realised that the seats didn't exist in the away section. Many of those who purchased the extra tickets put on sale last week didn't receive them as the ticket guy at Rovers is off sick with stress following the Norwich ticket fiasco and nobody bothered to send them to Exeter. At the last minute they were advised to collect them on arrival at The Mem instead of having a pre match pint. I see on the other forum there is a thread having a go at the new ownership, good luck with that one, we sold our souls years ago. UTG

I did see a few fans remonstrating with stewards before kick off. What a fiasco. Not remotely surprised sadly.

We have already had our own fans fighting each other, at Blackpool

I can't see how charging supporters of different teams in the same stand different prices can be legal. I'd expect us to refund Exeter fans the difference. It's not legal. Think Orient got into trouble for charging a couple of quid more to away fans in their East stand (wooden seats and Dickensian toilet facilities). Rather surprisingly Rovers are now offering £10 South Stands seats for the Poxford game. www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/20242/january/10-tickets-and-quid-a-kid-vs-oxford/So I guess they'll have to offer the same to Pox fans. Which is quite a chunk of revenue lost. Edit. Just re-read it. South Stand needs 75% capacity to ensure future 100% capacity. Which implies it didn't get to 75% capacity for the humdinger against Exeter. As was suggested.
