Matt Taylor in one of his early interviews after securing the Rovers job spoke of working like he did at Exeter City with a small squad boosted by academy proprospects but the main difference at the Mem was no pressure to sell players which he had to at Exeter.
The recent departures are an example of this and proposed loans to off load others by the summer.
It's a big ask to get anywhere near the play offs now so concentrate on a solid mid table position.

Lots of work to be done to get the Rovers academy up to scratch then. When was the last time the club earned a significant amount for an academy player after Scott Sinclair which was nearly 20 years ago or fended of large offers?
I expect MT will be looking at the training facilities for the Academy or have they moved into WISE now after Bristol City moved out?
