It's wed 19:45.
£10 standing which was a pleasant surprise.

So no priority for terrace ST holders. That's unusual.

Bit of a joke. No warning. As I got my ticket about 7.02 no chance all the season tickets had got there's.

It appears they have sold out without giving season ticket holders priority.
I stand to be corrected and hope I'm wrong.

All season ticket holders will have their seats reserved until 7pm on Wednesday 10th January, when any unclaimed seats will be released. www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/20242/january/norwich-replay/

What happens if you don't have a reserved seat?
As in, terrace?

Trying to follow the thread on the other forum.
Can anyone help confirm if terrace season ticket holders have a reserved ticket they can purchase today (Tuesday) before they go on general sale tomorrow? Some say it's a sale out whilst others say that terrace season ticket holders have a reserved ticket option but this needs to be actioned today - unfortunately it's all a bit Ted Rogers 3-2-1 in trying to solve how to get the ticket.
Just aksing for my old man who has a terrace season ticket, has been going for 50+ years but didn't know anything about the ticket sale until this morning.

The whole thing is another shambles. I say apparently as I can't make head or tail of it.

This "third part ticketing system" wasn't called Horizon was it? From the club's website: www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/20242/january/club-statement-norwich-ticketing/Bristol Rovers Football Club is aware of reports from a small number of season ticket holders within the terraced parts of the ground that their ticket reservations were not held for our replay with Norwich for next week.
The club has been made aware of a glitch in our third-party ticketing system, which has been investigated, and the affected supporters identified. These fans will be contacted directly, with the opportunity to purchase tickets for the fixture. There will be no further tickets available for general sale purchase at this time.
Season ticket holders in seated areas will still have until 7pm on Wednesday 10th January to purchase their seats for the fixture. Following this deadline, any seats not purchased will be released and made available for purchase with further priority given to those season ticket holders who were unable to purchase last night.
We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused and reassure supporters that we will do all we can to make sure that every season ticket holder that wishes to attend the game is able to.
Thank you for all of your support and we look forward to seeing you all at The Mem next week, for what is a hugely important fixture for the club.

Initially I was a holder of an east terrace ticket, then informed 24 hours later that "due to a technical hitch" with the computer I was not !! 🤭🤔. A bit peeved ..

Logged in again after several attempts before now and find nothing's changed! As a West Terrace STH I have not been allowed to buy any tickets for that area, or the Blackthorn End - although there are a few in the new corner, oddly. Now they are 'on general sale', it's not changed at all - No Tickets for anywhere except that corner. Is the ticketing software run by the Post Office?

Bristol Rovers release statement after ticketing issues for Norwich City FA Cup replay..By Daniel Hargraves.
A number of season ticket holders at the Mem were left disappointed after missing out on tickets for Bristol Rovers' upcoming FA Cup third round replay at home to Norwich Cityi2-prod.bristolpost.co.uk/incoming/article9023866.ece/ALTERNATES/s810/0_JS287394762-1.jpgBristol Rovers are investigating "a glitch" in their third-party ticketing system Ticketmaster after a number of season ticket holders were left disappointed that they missed out on a ticket for the Gas' FA Cup third round replay with Norwich City despite having priority for such matches. The football club rightly received plenty of praise on social media on Monday evening when announcing fair, affordable ticket prices for the cup tie which has been scheduled for Wednesday January 17th. According to the official club website, tickets were due to go on sale from 7pm on Monday 8th January. The website also stated that season ticket holders would have their seats reserved until 7pm on Wednesday when any unclaimed seats will be released. However, the issue that many season ticket holders at the Mem ran into either on Monday evening or Tuesday morning was that when they went to log on to purchase tickets, their seats were already sold before eventually it appeared online as though the fixture itself had completely sold out. Since the tickets went on sale, there has been extra interest in the replay following the fourth round draw which will see the victorious side travel to Anfield to face Premier League giants Liverpool at the end of January. The Gas haven't reached the fourth round of the FA Cup since 2008 and last went to Anfield in 1992. Some season ticket holders were able to pick up tickets, mainly those who acted early on Monday evening. However, there were also fans who took to social media to claim that they had been able to buy tickets in bulk with some stating they were able to purchase up as many as 10. One season ticket holder told Bristol Live prior to the statement that they were told by ticketing staff at the Mem on Tuesday that an issue with provider Ticketmaster had seen all seats and terrace spots put up for sale. They had been unable to purchase a ticket in their usual place online because all spaces had been allocated or sold. Another revealed that out of their usual match going group of six, only two were able to purchase tickets in the West Enclosure via general sale. A third season ticket holder, who has been a supporter for over 50 years, explained that they had run into a similar issue where when they logged on, their place had already been sold. A fourth who also missed out claimed that after enquiring about the same issue over the phone, they were told that tickets had sold out. However, the club have now clarified the situation via an official statement saying that affected supporters "will be contacted directly, with the opportunity to purchase tickets for the fixture. There will be no further tickets available for general sale purchase at this time." The statement went on to add: "Season ticket holders in seated areas will still have until 7pm on Wednesday 10th January to purchase their seats for the fixture. Following this deadline, any seats not purchased will be released and made available for purchase with further priority given to those season ticket holders who were unable to purchase last night. "We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused and reassure supporters that we will do all we can to make sure that every season ticket holder that wishes to attend the game is able to. "Thank you for all of your support and we look forward to seeing you all at The Mem next week, for what is a hugely important fixture for the club." It is understood that this afternoon an email was sent to identified season ticket holders affected by the glitch, which said that at 4:30pm on Tuesday they will be able to log in to their ticketing account to purchase terrace tickets for the match, although due to limited availability they may not be able to purchase in the area their season ticket is usually situated in.

The club clearly know there is a significant problem in the system, presumably run by Ticketmaster over whom they have little control. It strikes me that a major headache is coming in now as there are so many STHs who have been denied a ticket, myself included. Will the club be able to sort this out in good time? Technology has brought with it many benefits, but only if it works properly.
Another thing that crosses my mind is that this is the first time the new stand is being opened for business. Could the person/people responsible for increasing the database or whatever have royally screwed it up? It wouldn't surprise me.
Meanwhile, I'll be waiting for a good response, like the team.

My father was unable to get a ticket. He has been a season ticket holder for decades and a supporter for over 60 years. He doesn't object to any person getting a ticket ahead of him, particularly if it's a potential new young fan, but he is disappointed that his season ticket hasn't given him some sort of priority.
He's 80 years old so doesn't have as good a grasp of the online ticketing system or is usually last to act on alerts or emails from the club.
Hopefully, we'll get a spare ticket somehow but I hope the club improves their ticketing system in the future. If anyone has a spare then please DM me and I'll sort you out.

If you or someone could email ChloeMonks@bristolrovers.co.uk today & explain your father’s situation, she should be able to help. Got this info from the other forum & she has been very prompt at helping fans out.
