Bit of a no brainer.
Will be interesting to see how he fits back into the team.
I always wonder about the players personal perspective in situations like this. He would have built a good rapport and some friendships at Morecombe now, to some degree, he has to start that process all over again.

It's a very young central back three, isn't it? The only alternative, whilst James Wilson recovers, would be to sign a more experienced "T Craig"-type.

Good decision. Our player, has been getting regular game time on loan and we have a need for his position. Based on what I’ve seen is more error prone than Crama and especially Taylor who I think rarely puts a foot wrong. Forged a good partnership with Taylor too in the promotion year - hoping he can do the same again now though whether he can do that in a back 3 rather than 4 remains to be seen. Ultimate test will be a wide man with pace.
This also suggests to me that Taylor (boss) doesnt see Hoole as part of a back 3 like poundland Pep did. Suspect he is down for WB role of full back if we switch to 4 at the back.
This has got me wondering if we have any realistic prospect of permanently signing any of our loanees. I’d keep both Crama and Vale if that were an option as I think both have made decent contributions. Bogarde hasnt convinced me but still time to change my mind

I think Connolly will come good. Still think we need a centre back with experience though.
