Sad to report the passing of long standing gashead Bob Ford from Hanham he was 78 and was a regular Rovers programme contributor to the Pirate during the clubs era at Twerton Park 1987 and alsp when the club moved to the Mem right up to 2012. Bob also attended matches at Southampton for many seasons.

Detaips from Rob Ford about his Dad's funeral . Bob Ford funeral will take place on Wednesday 24th January, 2:45pm at Westerleigh Crematorium, BS37 8RF. Everyone is welcome; please could you do us a favour and let others know about the funeral as I’m not sure if I’ve been able to reach out to absolutely everyone who may want to attend. If you are able to join us please wear something bright and joyful to celebrate his life; like Dad would have wanted 😀. I did not know him but always sad to hear of one of ours passing. RIP Bob. It seems we are losing way too many and in a short space of time. My condolences to his family
