Crewe.." up North".. 🤔 Just.Lived in the area for 50 years and Stoke is regarded as the end of the Midlands with Crewe being the beginning of the 'North'.Reflected by TV areas as well with the Potteries receiving 'Midlands Today' local BBC news. Politically their constituency is ,'Crewe and Nantwich.'.

Unsettled service at best.....but tbh if you go via Newport, Transport for Wales are running just mighty fine for a bit of extra time spent.

Twenty or so years ago my eldest son used to chat to Rob at away games and eventually managed to persuade my wife to knit one of those "trademark" blue & white checked jumpers.

He looks like the fella with the famous knitted jumper? I recall him home and away from 2003, if so. Edit: I've just seen Swiss's reply: I knew it!

That jumper has been going a fair old time now. Dicker family from Yate, just off Eggshill Lane; I lived nearby.
