Former Rovers and current Wycombe striker Brandon Hanlan is unlikely to play again this season because of a serious knee injury.
Hanlan damaged his anterior cruciate ligament against Stevenage on Saturday, leading to an additional 14 minutes being played in the first half.
The 26-year-old, who joined Wycombe in 2021, has scored three goals in 19 games for the Chairboys this term.
The club have signed free-agent former Nottingham Forest striker Lyle Taylor to boost their options up front.
The 33-year-old Montserrat international has agreed a short-term deal.
I feel he would have been a good fit for Rovers. Unless JCH deal is already been sorted on 1 January.

I never minded the player. Best wishes to him.

Would have liked a Monserrat international to have represented Rovers.
I see Terry Connor is now manager of the Grenada National Team. Jason Roberts is now Chief Development Officer for for CONCACAF
