It was never about whether you had the ability to link the source of the stories you chose to comment on, it was about the actual source of those stories. That now is emphatically clear. Now that you do(give a link)two things become apparent. 1. You read/watch/listen (to) the trash end of the media 2. Your comprehension of what you do read is clearly limited. The protection of employment rights was a classic example. |

Apparently the boat people on the bibby Stockholm are now converting to Christianity, so they can’t be sent back to there Muslim country , that scum who threw acid at that poor lass & kids converted to Christianity & was allowed to stay , priest backed him It gets more of a joke every day , some lefty bird on gb news said we need to change our culture so they feel more welcome , maybe Chuck people off buildings , stone others , treat women worse than dogs , sharia law , these lefties live in some weird world . You can even commit criminal offences whilst waiting for your refugee status to be decided, and still not be deported. A proper debate about immigration is hopelessly devalued when people start jumping up and down about relatively inconsequential headlines. As an atheist I have no time for so called "conversions", but how many are we talking about here? 1K, 2k? Does anybody know? Out of immigration of around 700,000. I already showed you what proportion of that number are involved in higher education. I gave you the net economic benefit. I pointed out it was the Tories who loosened the rules on relatives of these students. Nobody comes back on that because you cannot. So you all revert to calling people woke (what does that even mean? Leadbelly anyone), jumping up and down about sensationalist headlines which are just click bait to get you to read the ads. We need a proper debate, not posturing, posturing to win votes and not pandering to the lowest common denominator. |

Oldie - You converted from Christianity to Islam and then back again? I understand that you did not do this for religious purposes but for your family/personal benefit, and I am not criticizing you for doing so, but surely you must have the mindset that agrees with immigrants 'converting' just to allow themselves to circumnavigate the laws of the land? |

Not quite, I was never a Christian. Likewise I was never a Muslim. I decided to buck the system for the sake of my new born son. I already had residential status in Iran when he was born. The problem was that out of the blue (it was a hint of what was about to happen) the authorities refused to issue him a birth certificate as we had not married under Islam. So I pretended to convert, got married again (3rd time!! Same lady) and bingo, they issued my son a birth certificate. Funniest thing? My wife was not a Muslim 😂😂 Anyway that's the umpteenth time I have explained it, I don't know why you keep raising it. |
