He married Gladys Fanny Jarvis on 28th August 1920, in Barton Hill, Gloucestershire, England, United Kingdom. They were the parents of at least 1 son. He lived in Gloucestershire, England, United Kingdom in 1891. He died on 16th May 1963, in Warmley, Gloucestershire, England, United Kingdom, at the age of 72, and was buried in Warmley, Gloucestershire, England, United Kingdom. Little is known of the football career of Bristol Rovers’ Ernest Skuse. What is known is that he played for Rovers during the First World War in wartime competition, and that he scored a hat-trick against Bristol City at Ashton Gate on Good Friday 1919.
