Everything comes to those Kuwait...! Strange times at Rovers. If this new investment / new owner story is true... why hasn't Wael controlled the narrative and made a statement? By allowing the investor to break the story it looks to me like he is being undermined. If the new investment / new owner is not true (or inaccurate) why has Wael not put out a strongly worded statement to confirm what the situation is. Who owns Rovers, and who ultimately makes the decisions, seems quite important.

Investment decisions come from this structure, not the whims of one person or the prattling on of a paid employee (manager in our case). To date Dwane Sports has acted like a holding company owned by one family. Operational decisions made by the sub board (BRFC 1883 Ltd). That is a harder position to maintain I would suggest with multiple shareholders in the holding company, especially if one of those has more than 51% to carry a majority led operational decision. I cannot imagine a scenario where a new investor(s) would not want representation on the operational board, 1883 Ltd,in order to represent the views of that investor. Interesting times and if the influence of Barton and his acolytes is as rumoured we may well see that diluted now.

Good news methinks, and feel quite optimistic now all is confirmed and in the public domain. I still cannot see the fruit market happening though, and think that with all the uncertainty we may press on now to re-develop the Mem in stages.

Perhaps But it would be a bit strange for an investor to put in a wedge for 55% and then just sit on it, bumbling along in L1 in a stadium barely fit for purpose with no real growth prospects in sight.

I'm with you on this one Oldie. In a sudden and unusual burst of optimism, this has to be positive news regarding the Fruit Market. I would find it hard to believe Rovers could secure investment if there was not a realistic chance of a new stadium (and the chance to break even - hey even generate profits)! If due diligence on the FM has been done and the investors are happy with what is proposed, then this is marvellous news. I'll need a sit down.
