SO are the electorate not totally sure of KS and what he is aiming for.... have they got the idea that the country will just ditch the tories at will .or do the lib dems have a bigger say in the matter [as is their thoughts following the Somerton and Frome result]

I have never seen a parliament with such a shower of ****, usually possible to find some decent MPs (a tiny minority) but they all seem to be self serving lightweights now.

Labour at the moment are conspiring to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Nobody seems to know Starmer's policies, the far left are trying to destroy the party and people don't bother with facts. We have record NHS queues, highest taxation rates for years, highest level of borrowing for years, huge amounts of money being given corruptly to Tory party donors and supporters, record use of food banks, failed policies on immigration, etc and still people are voting Tory. Frightened that Labour will raise taxes, raise tax, fail on immigration, ..... you couldn't make it up. The Tories won Uxbridge with 500 votes and the MP doesn't even back or agree with Sunak. And the ULEZ effect is weird as Boris Johnson brought in ULEZ and Grant Shapps said that TfL could only get additional funding if ULEZ was extended. So a Tory policy works against Labour. www.itv.com/news/2023-07-21/ulez-may-be-only-reason-tories-narrowly-avoided-losing-uxbridgeAs part of a settlement for Transport for London (TfL) reached in 2020, the Conservative government's then-transport secretary Grant Shapps insisted on the expansion of the ULEZ expansion to outer London zones as a condition of additional funding.
