Well done Alefe..... But to honest he was god awful for us, the worst player I've ever seen in the quarters. I can accept that he was thrown in at a difficult time, but he was shocking. Kept falling over instead of crossing. opinions are opinions but that is an outrageous statement (in my opinion).<script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/53bf5afa/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script>

We seem to do well producing youngsters through the youth set up but unfortunately, due to the total lack of cohesion between the youth and first teams, they struggle with the step up. When people said he's not strong enough what they meant was he was too small. I actually thought he handled himself pretty well for his size. Obviously Messi would struggle in the bottom tier too right? For me it's because we play terrible football more technical players struggle. When Alefe was offered an easy ball he usually found his man but most of the time he was isolated on the wing and expected to get it in the box from nothing positions. I imagine at a more sophisticated club he will do well and that won;t be the first time.
