BBC Question Time slammed by furious viewers for 'obvious bias' as Nigel Farage and Piers Morgan go head to head..by Lauren Williams. i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2024/05/30/22/85534065-13477745-image-a-22_1717105715820.jpgBBC Question Time viewers were left furious and threatening to switch off from the episode after they claimed the show had become biased with their choice to invite Reform UK's Honorary President Nigel Farage and Broadcaster Piers Morgan onto the show. During their appearance, Farage and Morgan found themselves in a heated debate after the Reform ally was slammed by an audience member on his decision not to stand in the General Election. After the pair started squabbling and having an outright row, host Fiona Bruce interjected and told the pair to end their bitter argument. Whilst the audience was keen to get their questions to the panel and grill the pair, many watching at home were left unimpressed and claimed the BBC were being obviously "biased". Taking to their X accounts, one commented: "I've given up on BBCQT due to its obvious bias towards left-wing politics, including the audience. The one time someone on the right appears, the left has a seizure....." i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2024/05/30/22/85534059-13477745-image-a-21_1717105709956.jpgAnother added: "More BBC bias with the location of #bbcqt tonight? Epsom College a private Boarding School. How about using other locations to host #bbcqt NHS Hospital? State School? Blackpool? or any of other coastal towns, contaminated with raw sewage for a change." Someone else said: "Fiona Bruce reminded me tonight why I stopped watching #bbcqt many moons ago. She can't help but show her political colours." "BBC carefully selected left-wing audience," a fourth expressed before a fifth stated: "The anti-Farage bias on #bbcqt is so cringe. So telling though. The publicly funded BBC cannot stand him." One annoyed viewer quipped: "That was the most unbalanced #bbcqt for a long time. 5 guests, 4 men 2 TV hosts not standing for election." Unable to continue watching, another penned: "Fiona Bruce is a disgrace. Typical BBC bias. She allowed it to be the Wes Streety show and constantly cut off @nigelfarage." "You have to put it to #bbcqt Tory MP, Nigel Farage and Piers Morgan make up for the blatant left-wing bias shown by inviting Wes Streeting," another claimed. (sic) i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2024/05/30/22/85534077-13477745-image-a-19_1717105693671.jpgDuring their time on the show, Farage hit back at Morgan after he claimed he "bottled" the major election decision, something that Farage didn't take lightly. Farage scolded the broadcaster over his comment and hit back: "You've never stood in an election!" and added that he had bigger things to think about, including the NHS. "It actually isn’t working anymore, we’ve increased what we’re spending on the NHS and we’re not getting the delivery. The French have a mutual system where those who can afford to pay effectively into an insurance scheme, those that can’t afford it are covered, and they are getting a much better return. "We need to fundamentally rethink how we fund the NHS." Morgan quipped back at Farage, and claimed that the Honorary President has "had all year" to prepare an election campaign before Farage responded: "I have a nightly TV show - yours has been shut down, but mine is still going!" i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2024/05/30/22/85534069-13477745-image-a-23_1717105738554.jpg

The exchange was:- FB - "Nigel, why are you here?" NF - "because you invited me!".

I watched the last 30 minutes of it. A hand picked left wing audience fawning over anything the Bishop of Dover was saying "we should embrace all immigrants, illegal and legal, because we are such an inclusive country". (I paraphrase). Whoops and cheers from the audience. Where do the BBC find these useful idiots? Pathetic. Biased. Rubbish. I thought Wes Streeting did OK to be fair. Got ripped to shreds on VAT for private schools - but apart from that was pretty good. I think it's called 'taking a balanced view and listening to the opposing side of the debate'. Something that bigots are unable to do. Cue response from frothing at the mouth ignorant left wing bigot whose response I will not see.

Reform at 17% and excuse the ironic pun - with momentum. (YouGov poll June 3-4th). Rishi must be soiling himself. Crisis? What existential crisis?

But previously you have to admit the lady from Clacton nailed it I don't think casting Nigel Farage in a German uniform is funny. Did she nail it? Not really. Her complaints should be directed at the local council. As for "he doesn't come from round here" well that applies to probably 80% of all MP's. It's her opinion though. With less than 24hrs notice, 2,000 people turned up to greet him.

The Left enjoy having ago at Farage at these election/referendum times.
"How many times have you tried and failed to become an MP" eg.
References to his former German partner.
Throwing drinks at him.
They know he is a Champion for many Britons.

Get ready for the battle of the real political brawlers: Angela 'Grangela' Rayner, 'Poundland' Penny Mordaunt and Nigel 'Mr Milkshake' Farage prepare to go head-to-head in BBC 'also-rans' debate on Friday..by James Tapsfieldi.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2024/06/05/16/85752417-13497275-image-a-15_1717601623388.jpgNigel Farage, Angela Rayner and Penny Mordaunt will face off in a potentially explosive election debate on Friday night. The BBC has confirmed that the Brexit champion, Labour deputy leader and Tory Cabinet minister will be among seven senior figures taking part. The 90-minute debate, starting at 7.30pm, could catch fire, with some of the biggest characters in politics set to do battle. It will be refereed by Today programme presenter Mishal Husain, who will invite members of the audience to ask the panel questions.
