Another Charge has been registered with Companies House, created on 17 May - Bristol Rovers (1883) Ltd. Does this supersede the one registered on 5th May, or is it something different? This Charge also appears on Bristol Rovers Football Club Limited - although the earlier charge doesn't. If anybody could explain this to me, in words of very few syllables, I would be most appreciative.  |

Looking at the charge document it appears that Nationwide Finance have done a 'belts and braces' job on the deal and have taken a fixed and floating charge for the same borrowing over the BRFC company and the BRFC 1883 company.
It doesn't appear to be extra borrowing just the same borrowing but secured on the assets of both companies.

On January 31st Gashead1981 ( Irenestoyboy) posted on the "New South Stand" Gaschat topic ;
"We did take out a £5m loan for the stand and any undertakings and the stand itself isn't £5m worth..."
Given that the amount of the loan isn't shown on the documents filed at Companies House how does he know this ?

On January 31st Gashead1981 ( Irenestoyboy) posted on the "New South Stand" Gaschat topic ; "We did take out a £5m loan for the stand and any undertakings and the stand itself isn't £5m worth..." When the bullets start flying around he is first in line...😋 That must be why they call him the Kevlar Kid In the event of Nationwide deciding to call in the loan do you think they'd start the process of selling the real estate or would it be an easier option to go after the personal guarantee first ? |

I was always told by wise old retired bank manager "guarantors are fools with pens". Just hope Nationwide Finance don't come knocking on a default otherwise someone is going to have a very difficult conversation with the Nationwide
grim reaper who will be wanting his £5 million back regardless of league position or season ticket holders in the South Stand.
