Charles III has agreed to looking into our Monarchys links to slavery,from about 300 years ago.
Great.
Historical facts are interesting.
Those hoping to only expose Britain's role in slavery and undermine our country are going to get a metaphorical bloody good hiding.

History is there, you can't change it, unfortunate as it is, but people tend to think the UK were the only country involved in this practice and seem to want some sort of retribution for it, you can do but apologize, not sure a monetary hand over is the answer for this or if anyone actually benefits from it
On another history re write....how about we de- invent the wheel..when you consider the damage that the combustion engine has (allegedly) caused to the environment,who will look to claim compensation for that...

I wonder if anyone who was conscripted could argue that it was a form of slavery and claim compensation ?
btw I totally disagree with slavery although unknowingly I expect that I have bought items made by slave labour.
