3 seasons next to bugger all in terms of matches played. A squad player at best I wonder how many games he plays before the next injury takes him out for a prolonged period.

Certainly seems that what steptoe. I thunk we have made some big mistakes and they are now biting us. Summer is going to be very interesting, indeed. Passive aggressive is not good enough to describe Bartons behaviour. I do wonder if there is anyone that can rein him in ?

Well, pretty sure when we signed Josh G other clubs were being mentioned. He had done well at Argyle so he was a good signing and that he is still here (the last of BG’s signings?) shows that JB rates him as well, if fit to play obviously. Not sure if it was a 2-year contract which we extended to a third year or a 3-year contract in June 2020. If the latter then we haven’t made a mistake because he was on contract and we couldn’t have done anything different. I like Grant, I think we play well with him in the side but he has had lots of injuries and that has affected him without doubt. I think JB would use him if we play with a back 3 like JB seems to prefer.
UTG!

Former Bristol Rovers promotion hero Josh Grant finds new club six months on from Gas release..By Daniel Hargraves
i2-prod.bristolpost.co.uk/incoming/article9719228.ece/ALTERNATES/s810/0_GettyImages-1762149453-1.jpg Josh Grant played in 101 games for BRFC scoring 5 goalsFormer Bristol Rovers defender and member of the League Two promotion squad Josh Grant has finally found a new club, six months on from it being announed that he would be released by the Gas. The 26-year-old has linked up with another Matt Taylor at National League outfit Wealdstone with the Stones currently 22nd in the fifth tier and trying to climb up the table. Grant was one of nine players released at the end of last season, having made 36 appearances for the Gas across all competitions over the course of the campaign and a total of 102 over four seasons. Although he had the odd injury concern, the versatile defender's availability was much improved on the season before in which he played just 10 minutes of the entire term. Also being part of the League Two promotion season as well as having previous spells at Plymouth Argyle and Yeovil Town, Grant will bring valuable experience to Wealdstone as they look to survive in the National League. On his signing, Stones boss Taylor said: "Josh is an extremely talented footballer who was a League One player this time last season - we are very lucky to have secured his signature."
