Usual sporting dinner fare. A collection of ex Rovers players, compared by Bruce Bannister, recounting stories from their playing days. 3 course meal, chance to catch up with friends from the past, talk sh*t and drink too much. I stayed overnight and went to the Plymouth game the next day. That was the last time saw us play really well, coming back from 2 down and should have won. Mo Bell, her of the Blue Diamond Club, organised ticketing etc, the sort of thing she has been doing for decades now. There is a Blue Diamond Club event coming up at the Air Museum in Filton. But you are barred from attending. |
