Fabian Spiess. A couple of games in the conference season but managed to punch it into his own net twice. Not sure if anyone has mentioned England coach Martyn Margetson? Both added to list

Surprised nobody has mentioned Ron Nicholls who made 81 appearances between 1955 - 1958.
He played in Rovers finest ever F A Cup win on 7th January 1956, beating Manchester United 4 - 0.
Two other keepers who played for Rovers were Ian Bearpark (2 appearances in 1960) and Ray White (3 appearances in 1968).

Jed Ward played the last game of 2020/21
Paul Lewis played the last game of 1975/76.
Both one appearance.
Thought of another one.
Shane Higgs made 10 appearances 1996/98

All added to the list..is says on the BRFC official players list for Ron Nicholls that he played 71 and not 81. In the BRFC Definitive History book up to 2003 on each seasons stats page, it gives a list of total appearances for the season, but those are only league games. For Ron Nicholls his apperarances are listed as: 55/56 - 8 games, 56/57 - 28 games and 57/58 35 games, total 71. What isn't in the totals are the FA cup matches he played in those seasons which were 3, 2 and 5, total 10 which gives 81.
Just as a random check, you have Esmond Million as making 38 appearances in 62/63, which the definitive history book also shows as 38. Bernard Hall is listed as playing 8 times making up the 46 league games. What isn't added in to those totals is the 1 FA cup game and 3 League cup games which Million played in, so he actually made 42 appearances for Rovers.
Would have thought the book would give the totals as ALL appearances in any season. Could be a few more need updating.

Good call, i have added the ones you mention to the list, it's incredible why ALL the data to a players totals is not included.

To be honest with you when i do research on War times, WW1 in particular and all the people that tell stories of their time there, i am almost in floods of tears, so sad. WW1 really is my thing as there is not a massive amount of data to research, whilst there is an abundance of info on WW2.

Danzelle St Louis-Hamilton joined Rovers on a month's loan from Stoke City in February 2009. He had no prior league experience before joining Rovers and was signed as an emergency loan following an injury to backup keeper Mike Green, who had broken a bone in his hand.

Hi Darlo, Danzelle never played a game for us, he was a unused sub during every game he was with us..
