Safe journey to all Gasheads making the trip. Bookies have Derby as favourites, but Rovers have upset the odds through October. Odds (generally): Derby win 3-4 Gas win 7-2 Draw 11-4

We have played Derby County 27 times since 1953, W9, D6, L12, Biggest win 5-2, loss 4-1, with 2 x 0-0 & 4 x 1-1
We all remember the Duke's special hat-trick in that FA Cup game at Pride Park, winning 1-3 on 6th January 2002.
Derby County were founded in 1884 and play their home games at Pride Park Stadium which has a capacity of 33,597.
Steve Bloomer was their Dixie Dean and scored 332 goals in 525 games, also played 23 games for England scoring 28 goals.
We all know the big success of the Clough & Taylor era and if Sam Longson had not sacked them they could have had many years of glory.
Known as the Rams, the ram didn't appear until 1924 when it went alongside a Tudor Rose, a Crown and a Buck.
Derby played at the Baseball Ground for 102 years and went to their home stadium now in 1997.
Derby's primary rival clubs are Nottingham Forest, Leicester City and Leeds United, Nottingham Forest are by far their fiercest rivals.
Derby's ex-managers were Brian & Nigel Clough, Steve McClaren, Dave Mackay, Tommy Doc, Roy McFarland, George Jobey, Arthur Cox, Jim Smith.
Their all-time XI reads, Boulton, Webster, Nish, Mcfarland, Stimac, Eranio, Hinton, Gemmill, Durban, Bloomer, Hector & Brian Clough.
Again there are no reasons why we cannot bring home a point or 3 today as our current form tells us so.

Recall a Pen being awarded at the Baseball Ground and it was so muddy a groundsman had to come on and paint a new Penalty Spot before it could be taken.Small pitch with the touchlines so close to the crowd you could almost touch the players and defo the lino. Recall running the line there against Leyton Orient three days after my vasectomy.Officials showers rarely worked so we had to share with the players and usually chose that of the winning team. Frank Clark manager of Orient then -ex Forest- who was a lovely man.

Gerry Daly scored the penalty that sent Derby on their way to a much needed 4-0 victory.

Both sides with injury worries, I think I'd take another point, but 2-1 win will do nicely

2-0 down after 14 mins.
Normally I'd go back to bed (3:15am here) but after the Plymouth game...

Well I did stay up, bad decision. 👎
We looked poor and tired. Far too many defensive and midfield errors.
As often said, it's not the loss but the manner in which you play. We didn't appear up for it which, as of late, is not like this team.
Very disappointing.

Overall it's been a good October, some players looked jaded today, not surprising after a tough week. Gifted them the first two goals, was always going to difficult after that.
