Quality performance.
Great seeing neutral fans on twitter stating how good we were.
Wednesday were very one dimensional, poorest of the club's tooted for promotion that I've seen so far.

Stats: Sheffield Wednesday 1 BRFC 1 - 54% - 46% - Shots 22-10 - On Target 6-5 - Corners 7-1 - Fouls 10-10 - Yellows 1-1 - Referee: Oliver Langford - Attendance: 22,006 A big point at Hillsborough for the Gas. A second-half strike from Josh Coburn secured a point for Rovers against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough. Joey Barton made two changes to the side that drew with Plymouth Argyle last Saturday. In came James Gibbons and Josh Coburn who replaced Luca Hoole and Harry Anderson. The first clear-cut chance of the game fell to Rovers. Aaron Collins was played in one-on-one with Wednesday 'keeper David Stockdale. Aaron delayed before pulling the trigger and Stockdale was out quickly to smother the effort. www.bristolrovers.co.uk/contentassets/ca20709856ac4f86b562f76f2d22118c/jmp_sheffield_wednesday_v_bristol_rovers_rs_061.jpgBelshaw was called into action for the first time in the tie shortly after Collins' effort. Josh Windass let fly from the edge of Rovers' penalty area and Belshaw was down smartly to push the attempt away from the target. Rovers were forced into an early change. Ryan Loft being forced off with an injury saw Harry Anderson enter the fray after half an hour on the clock. The hosts came close to taking the lead after 35 minutes. A dangerous ball was whipped in by Owls captain Barry Bannan towards the lurking Johnson who was creeping in at the back post. A crucial touch from Gibbons took the ball away from the Wednesday attacker but almost rolled into his own net with Belshaw on hand quickly to clear the danger. Rovers looked to hit the hosts on the counter-attack following the chance. Collins raced past the Wednesday defence and was blatantly pulled back as he rushed past the opposing defenders. Referee Langford waved play on with the chance ending with Stockdale saving Coburn's shot. www.bristolrovers.co.uk/contentassets/ca20709856ac4f86b562f76f2d22118c/jmp_sheffield_wednesday_v_bristol_rovers_rs_072.jpgWednesday opened the scoring just before the interval. Banna's free-kick was hit deep and met by Palmer who helped it into the middle of the penalty area where it was met by Smith who made no mistake with his header. Belshaw heroics kept Rovers within one of the hosts. The Rovers no.1 did superbly well to deny Gregory's close-range effort. The Gas had themselves level just before the hour mark. Antony Evans played a pass in towards Collins who cleverly let the ball run through to Josh Coburn who calmly lobbed the ball over the onrushing Stockdale and into the net in front of the travelling Gasheads. www.bristolrovers.co.uk/contentassets/ca20709856ac4f86b562f76f2d22118c/jmp_sheffield_wednesday_v_bristol_rovers_rs_098.jpgAs the clock edged closer to the 90-minute mark, Belshaw was yet again called into action. Our no.1 pulled out a stunning save from close range to deny Smith's headed effort from about five yards out. There was to be no late dramatics at Hillsborough as both sides would have to settle for a point. Next up for Rovers is a trip to Pride Park to take on Derby County on Saturday, 29th October. (3pm) Wednesday: Stockdale, Palmer, Ihiekwe, McGuiness, Brown, Johnson, Byers, Bannan, Windass, Smith, Gregory. Subs: Dawson, Vaulks, Iorfa, Wilks, Paterson, Dele-Bashiru, Mighten. Rovers: Belshaw, Gordon, Gibson, Thomas, Gibbons, Finley (c), Rossiter, Evans, Collins, Loft, Coburn. Subs: Jaakkola, McCormick, Sinclair, Hoole, Clarke, Anderson, Connolly.

Recently made the decision to rid the house of TV’s. has made a huge impact as we have begun to converse and read much more. Best decision i have made in many years. Savings are huge when not paying around 1.4K pa for sky alone. Also noticed the smart meter has been showing a hugh amount less of electricity used. It was a joint decision as we both saw so many repeats and how we would be so ignorant when watching the box. Good for you fella I believe you!Joints were never my thing, pipes and bongs were. Now using full spectrum oil but as an alternative medicine. Very very strong but early blood tests have shown some positive results. We shall see

Good for you fella What do you do now play hide and seek lol Maybe you lack creative flair or thought. Can still watch most things and all movies that are in the cinema but on iPad Pro instead of TV. I don’t have to pay for it either. Lots to do without a TV

Saved a tenner, and saw a decent game with proper cameras. #UpTheROVERSerr how much is your sky subscription? 🙂 . . . err, I don't have a television set. So, why on earth would I want a Sky subscription? (purely rhetorical) Anything else you would like to know?

Was out last night so recorded game. It was interesting to hear the commentators complimenting the Gas for going at Wednesday whereas most clubs sit back. I think it was the right decision and was impressed that we weren't intimidated at what used to be one of the top grounds in the UK. Great turnout by vocal Gasheads especially when 3,000 are going to Derby on Saturday. Impressed all round.

Thought it was a really enjoyable game - a performance where "Proud to be a Gashead" is very apt.

Another great performance from Rovers that has brought plaudits from Gashead's and also from many with no Gas affiliation.
I must say I have been surprised by the affection and positive feedback received from last nights outing on Sky TV as i had been led to believe the world view of BRFC had been tainted by Barton's appointment.
Ah well that might change when the scouse mafia take over and the football club becomes nothing more than a vehicle for money laundering.
Until then enjoy the ride and the view.

After watching on box, sleeping on it, I concur with most of above.
To keep it in perspective, we're still only mid table.
What a joy to watch Collins is, his little dummy yesterday to set up the equaliser was just as important as an assist, but won't get official credit for it. It's great to see a player play with a smile on his face, it's radiating throughout the team atm.
Great day to be Gas!

Loved these comments -
Tremendous turnout
'More than Bristol city would bring on a Wednesday night when on Sky'
'Fantastic from their fans considering the circumstances. Was squashed on the tram with loads of them after the game. They just kept trumping. Constantly. Stunk to high heaven in there. No wonder they're called The Gas.' Lol
