We have a manager who has achieved mid table in the conference , he bought players of the same standard, If he applied for the job with a cv he would never have got the job. If you want to get promotion you have to buy players who can achieve it, we cannot attract any decent players, its a terrible inditement of the club that we go to Forest Green Rovers thinking I hope we dont get stuffed. We are told we have one of the best budgets in our division, how come we cannot attract decent players, Lets be honest we are now a mid table non league club, with staff and players of the same standard.

What odd timing...
EDIT: In general there have been some very negative posts this evening, which is a bit strange given that games like the one we had today were always going to be potential banana skins if we weren't careful. My only criticism of today is that we could have got the ball on the floor a little bit more, less panicky in the final third too. Given the circumstances (lack of confidence/form, awful referee, time wasting from Telford), I thought we were fairly comfortable throughout and did what we had to do.

Epic fail, in first 12 words, Clarke never managed in COnference Premier so no he didnt achieve mid table in the conference. He did win Conference South play offs though, and the Southern League play offs two years two seasons previously. According to Directors yesterday we have top 5 budget, £1.1 million which across 23 players targetted is £900 pw each. Constable is on 3 times that according to some, and Midson twice that and FGR players up to twice that also - reason they have millionnaire backers gambling all on getting a league place. With knowledge like that in your first 12 wrds you could be Chairman, indeed you sound rather like Nick Higgs, angry, lacking in knowledge and unable to use Google as he has no IT skills, which are desperately needed in the Boardroom..........

We'll be fine when he finds that elusive Director with IT skills If we'd had access to t'internet previously he'd have know Buckle was an arrogant tosser and McGhee hadnt worked in football for years. And that DC had never managed a team in COnf Premier (btw I'm happy to stick with DC having spoken to people who worked with him at Salisbury who've said they'd be very surprised if he doesnt do well, and will always tell the truth and speak his mind) So come on everyone, lets help in the search for the IT skilled director/investor - it's a critical role and would have avoided many managerial appointment failures
