Clarke is totally clueless just listening to the bloke is bad enough. Still he did a decent job at the mighty Salisbury so he must be good. Absolute joke. Yet another positive post Steve - keep up the good work

We need to accept that our ambitions for this season amount to not getting relegated. We should be happy with anything other than a bottom two finish. Anyone who expects anything more from Rovers this season is kidding themselves.

Why do we persist in wanting managers who are leagues above us at the moment, have we all taken leave of our senses....we are a NON-LEAGUE football team with no money....get used to it lads.... We have to get behind the manager, the team and the club there's only one direction we're going to go in if we don't. I know we all want better, I know we all want success but get real will you, absorb what some of the other fans from other clubs who have come on here and told us. We'll have no divine right to promotion this season or any other season, until we realise we are in for one hell of a fight from every team in this league. So lets stop the barracking of our players just because the pass goes astray or the free kick doesn't go where we expect it to, the crosses don't come from where we want them too, the ball doesn't end up in the back of the net because we expect it to. We are where we are because we deserve to be, there's only one remedy....f...ing hard work for those playing, for those managing and for those watching....UTG

Higgs IMO All those who want DC sacked can only hope new owners take over, otherwise it's stick with a manager who has the genuine ability to get it right and move us forward. Based on what apart from blind faith?

I have seen proof, via text message, that he was genuinely open to come to the club. I think he could do a good job but, as many have pointed out, the problems lay further up the tree. Really? He'd be interested to manage us now. I know he was interested before but I really can't see the attraction of our current situation. I can ask Paul Colley AKA Roadman. He is a close friend of his Son Lee. He put it to the director of GJ's interest but no one even got back to him. Thing is GJ knows the potential of our club so maybe that would be enough to tempt him. He certainly has the contacts and ability. We keep being given the excuses of not being in the right area and rent being high yet he manages to get quality loans into Yeovil without any trouble. The way I see it, DC does not have experience of Cinference prem and does not have contacts. This job is not the place to learn those thing in the moment. At time of posting we are 0-0 at half time at home v Telford. I just don't see as we have the time to give him to learn his trade. If we do give him 10-15 games then it could be that we are in a relegation battle very early on into the season. God, it pains me to see us so poor and rudderless

Sorry to say but the most inexperienced manager Rovers ever got themslves lumbered with. A Chairman who is equally clueless.Helmet firmly on. How about Gary Johnson and to start scoring goals that useless Jamie Cureton who some think not good enough. well bert tann, don megson, gerry francis, david williams and ian holloway were pretty inexperienced managers and they did ok Are you serious in making the comparison with DC to that list ? As for Holloway, he has not hung around long enough anywhere yet to be seen as a success. Sorry to the fanboys but he is not the great manager many believe him to be just yet. Saying that. I'd love him here.
