Bloody Eintracht ! So frustrating. They can perform as they did last night, plus the two games against Barce. Win away at Bayern, yet overall their results this season have been pretty poor. Their fans though...they are something else ! This city will be whipped up into a frenzy before the return leg next week. Frustration? Talk to me about it. Watched Union last night against at home against hopeless Furth who are already relegated. A chance to really cement their place in the Europa League, Friday night under the floodlights at the Standion An der Altern Forsterei. Only one winner surely. Nope. Furth played Union off the pitch and deservedly went 1-0 up. Only a late defensive howler let Union back in. Union piled on the pressure late on, but couldn't find a winner. Will be a tremendous atmosphere at Eintracht / Wham. I hope it all goes smoothly after the unsavoury incidents at the Olympic Stadium.

Listening to the radio the other night and yesterday morning, you'd be forgiven if you didn't realise GRFC were in the semi final. It was all about Bobby Moore FC.
I know who has more chance of reaching the final and it ain't Lesser Millwall.

Just the bookies odds for lifting the Europa trophy... I hope both games have a terrific atmosphere and pass without incident.
RB Leipzig plastic Club, despised by everyone, no history 5-6. Eintracht Frankfurt 5-2. West Ham 5-1. Rangers 11-1. Anyone but Leipzig. Rangers decent value.

Lots of trouble between rival fans since Tuesday have been reported. I have to watch the first half in work, then bomb home to catch the last ten minutes ! It looks like a cracking atmosphere inside the ground. It's a really nice stadium. Rebuilt for the World Cup (2008?).

Great looking final.
I wonder how many thousands will attend,I mean don't Rangers fans have a habit of arriving with or without a ticket.
Excellent for Scottish football.
The big two remain serious opposition to all.
Big party heading to Seville.

Great couple of results last night. That's going to be one good final! "Get ready, Seville. The other half of Glasgow is on it`s way.". I`m more confident about this one, than I was back in 2008. Rangers just seemed to stumble into that final. Away goals against Panathinaikos. Penalties against Fiorentina. They have a real shot at winning this one. And the prize is huge; automatic entry into the group stage of next season`s Champions League. Even if the Left Footers do win the Scottish league this year, I can`t see them progressing through the qualifying rounds, next season.

In Piccadilly Gardens. That`s where I was standing. I have a vague recollection that the Rangers fans present, weren`t entirely happy about the situation.

I think that ' gers fans and more will there for more than one day...as a young lad ( long time ago) I was on a school football exchange to Germany, there happened to be a certain team in green and white on their way to Lisbon... apparently some never returned.. chosing to stay live there rather than suffer what were then rather primeval living conditions in their homeland

Hope it's a pure party atmosphere mate. As you know Alf, those of us with West of Scotland blood usually have olive skin, brown eyes and long flowing locks, so the Seville police will easily spot the Eintracht fans as they'll stand out like a sore (sunburnt) thumb. Would love to be going to Seville for this one. What a few days it will be in that apparently glorious city.
