Watched on You tube the last interview from Keith Moon on Good Morning America on the 7th August 1978, Pete Townshend was with him.
Keith said he had not changed in the 15 years with The Who, still gets drunk and fools about, Pete confirmed this.
Softly spoken and clean shaven Keith thought the band would still be together in another 15 years.
Police determined that there were 32 clomethiazole pills in Moon's system. Six were digested, sufficient to cause his death.
Keith sadly passed away on 7th September 1978 after being found by girlfriend Annette Walter Lax.

Sadly there is a very long list of musicians who died way too soon. What a waste. I saw Roger Daltry on the One Show (I am NOT a regular viewer!) - looking good, still performing and doing fantastic work for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Keith Moon was 32, John Entwistle was 57, but Roger now 78 and Pete 76 have some how survived the sex, drugs and rock n roll lifestyle. Keep rocking boys it ain't doing you no harm.

I think John died with a load of white stuff up his nose whilst enjoying a night with a stripper. He died before breakfast. Shortly after his funeral at Stow on the Wold, his x girlfriendĀ began an affair with the Vicar of Oddington. He resigned from the Church and the pair ran off to France and opened a guest house.

So glad I saw John (thunder fingers) Entwistle perform live with The Who not long before his premature death..Zak Starkey on drums was superb and played very similar to Keith...Bonus that evening was Joe Strummer being the main support he was fantastic.
