If we win tonight, we're in the play offs as Swindon and Sutton play each other.

Colchester dealt with poor old Scunthorpe United on Saturday quite comfortably, at least going by the highlights.
The Iron look buggerred and every bit 5th tier.A couple of United players strolled through their midfield and so that's something we'll have to watch.
This makes me consider just how many more games can Sam Finley play 'goody two shoes' and avoid his tenth yellow card and is it a 2 game suspension.
Win the midfield tonight and I think we'll get those 3 points.

Saturday was great. Really looking forward to another match, hopefully we won't have such a stuttering start.

We have played Colchester 29 times, W12, D8 & L9, We have won 6-0 & 4-1 & Lost 5-4, We have not played them at home in 11 years.
Colchester were founded in 1937, are knicknamed the U's, play home games at the Colchester Community Stadium which has a capacity of 10,105.
Manager Wayne Brown played over 150 games for Colchester and has been caretaker twice and is now their interim manager.
Colchester United fans consider Wycombe Wanderers to be their primary rivals, with Ipswich Town being a close second.
John Akinde played 18 games for us in 2010-11 with a no goal return, but has scored 100+ goals combined for Alfreton, Barnet & Lincoln.
Midfielder Cole Skuse played over 300 games for the Shi*e and nearly 300 for Ipswich Town and now with their rivals Colchester.
Freddie Sears started at West Ham and played with Skuse at Ipswich as did veteran Luke Chambers who has over 800 games under his belt.
They love their players who signed from Ipswich, Dean Gerken, Tommy Smith, Alan Judge, Myles Kenlock, Tom Eastman, Emyr Huws, Sears, Skuse & Chambers.
Jamie Cureton, Aidy Boothroyd and Geraint Williams all had spells with Colchester and Ian Atkins, John Ward and Boothroyd have all managed the club.

I have tended to worry too much about the strengths of the opposition, any opposition in the past. We may not get what we want tonight, but I honestly feel we have the best keeper, defence, midfield ( whoever plays) and attack in the league. Just saying. COYB
