Even Brazil don’t play like Brazil every game lol Point taken but after what i had been reading, i had hoped we were playing a more attacking game. There were several times when players had plenty of time and space to run with the ball but didn’t do so. It does seems that in most of the games, where we have had bigger crowds, we flatter to deceive That is a fair point. We do tend to struggle playing in front of "big" crowds at home when expectations are high.
Yesterday's game was not really a good showcase for the type of attacking football we have been showing of late. As was said earlier, both teams cancelled each other out.
Also the substitutions made us worse rather than better. Lately, the substitutions have largely had a positive effect on the course of the game.
I would encourage you to go to another home game. We are in for an exciting finish to the season I feel...

I would add that I think Grecians having their feet up for ten days, while we battled with Stevenage and Orient went slightly in their favour.A wee bit sharper/fresher,especially in the final 15 minutes or so. Also, attacking the Thatchers End in the 2nd half (unlike yesterday) can lift the whole of the Mem and give the lads that extra bit of fighting spirit.Something for Gasheads to consider.

It was an interesting match.
They looked a top 7 side. Brown was their best player. Left wing back, Caprice, caused us problems.
Mansfield and Exeter have been good benchmarks.
We have come on leaps and bounds defensively. Connolly was MOM yesterday with a near faultless performance. It was like watching Lockyer at his best. Anderson at left back had an excellent game as well.
I don't think that we retain possession well enough in the opponents' half. There were a lot of flicks where we lost possession and no-one regularly comes short to allow defence a simple pass. In total, we have looked a little disjointed in midfield against the better sides.
Coutts is like a midfield sweeper, Finley does not control the game and Evans and E.Anderson are often over-complicating, instead of keeping the ball moving. When the passing fluidity gets better, we "could" score a lot of goals.
I spoke to Wael outside the ground yesterday after the game, specifically about Taylor and Connolly. If we could keep that parnership together, I would be confident about a good campaign next season. IMO Bond has done an excellent job with defence. I understand that Stoke want Taylor back, but Connolly situation is less clear. Hoole will only get better and is here to stay.
Biggest concern was Loft. He did not seem in tune with anything that we were doing. Different wavelength to be kind. He does have some pace though, unlike Pitman and Clarke. We were hanging on in last 15-20 mins, especially as we lost any real threat going forwards. Not picking on Loft, but he needs to be integrated into the team, not playing stop-start.

I saw a nervy crowd, heard very little noise from the north terrace and both goalkeepers had little to do but we got very lucky when their player sliced the shoe in. You really ought to learn when to stop digging. you've totally blown any credibility you ever had by firmly nailing your colours to the “No Rovers till B*****’s gone” mast, then, when we started to get a bit of a run going you come on here asking for tickets as if nothing had ever been said. You're a complete Charlatan and nobody will ever believe another word you say. That's rather OTT. KP has been clear about not liking JB, however, he's been big enough not to cut off his nose to spite his face, and gone along to a game when he fancied having a look at how Rovers are playing. No need to shoot him down in flames. The 2nd half was a bit on a non event, compared to the first, especially after the long injury stoppage. We all see things differently - it makes the world go round! UTG

Which is about as far away from the above as it gets and Rovers fans on here telling other Rovers fans on here how useless/worthless they are or how they should think/act. That seems about the best way to blow any, ahem, 'credibility' to me

Naff all to do with whoever is manager, just saying it as I saw it, i was led to believe we were playing some attractive football but the game, to me, was not like that. There were chances but not many that troubled both GK’s. We seemed to bypass midfield a lot of the time. You really are barking up the wrong tree with this Seeing as you boycotted all previous games because your delicate stomach couldn’t handle B*****, you’ll just have to take the word of the proper supporters who did attend, won’t you? What sorted your digestive system, Rennies or Gaviscom? Put your handbag away sweetheart. There are bigger and far more important things in the world for you to get angry about. And for the record, my view is that all 'proper' fans of the club would have a problem with the club appointing a violent and unrepetant thug as our manager.

We were hanging on in last 15-20 mins, especially as we lost any real threat going forwards. Not picking on Loft, but he needs to be integrated into the team, not playing stop-start. Loft was trying to get the ball played down the middle to run on to. He was working really hard to stay onside on the edge of their defensive line and running side to side to pull them apart. Finally it worked and he was away. He’s mighty quick and had the centre half all ways up so he just held him back, grappled him to give the keeper time to clear the ball and the ref, even though it all happened under his nose, did nothing and allowed it to happen, just like he did with the defender who continually body-blocked Collins. loft would have been in with a good scoring opportunity because he would only have had the keeper to beat. You only get one chance like that per game and the ref allowed Exeter to stop him illegally. I was astounded when he would blow for a foul against us unnecessarily when we had retained possession and in a good position to attack. He d blow up and bring the ball back for a pointless free kick, thus giving them the chance to get back into position. He did this several times and it’s very frustrating. Exeter employed every trick in the book to stop us and the ref let them get away with it.

Again, if you don’t want to support the club anymore because of B***** then crack on, each to his own and all that. If that’s your position then fine, I take it that’s how you’ll remain until he’s gone, be it one year or five. What amuses me, and it’s no more than that, is people who condemned the club for employing B*****, made grand statements about never coming again or buying any merchandise, then at the first whiff of success come on here touting for tickets. If you can’t see the contradiction in that then I despair.

Havent you got it yet? You're not a proper fan unless the B***** Out Brigade, the BOBS, deem you to be. They occupy the moral high ground don’t you know, and would rather see the ground empty and the club in receivership than have B***** as manager. Except Kingswood Polac, who’s decided he wants to go again and, I suspect a few other BOBS as well, although they’ve kept it to themselves. I suspect the suppliers of false beards and moustaches have been doing a roaring trade of late.

The various reasons people have given for not going seem to be inconsistent at times. We have B*****, Covid, both of the previous from some and lack of faith in the owner.
Presumably, none of these people will be back until Wael moves on, B***** has gone and Covid is eradicated. In other words, never.
Hey ho, their choice. UTFG.

I have a feeling the BOBS will have a happy little closed shop where they can berate the club for employing B***** and making grand statements whilst sneaking along to the odd game or two, complete with heavy disguise. Oh the joy.

Good game, deserved to hang for the point after a strong start.
Looks like the play off's could be possible and good luck to Exeter in League 1 next season.
Met Joey yesterday where he was cheered and booed at the same time.
Defo Bristol Rovers and not united as is evident on here. UTG
