West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady has condemned the actions of Kurt Zouma but has seen the "extreme remorse" he's shown for his actions.
Zouma has been hit hard in the pocket with Brady doubling down on the stance shown by the club and revealing that the defender "accepted this sanction immediately without reservation and was in full agreement that the funds be donated to ensure some good is done".
Brady wrote in her Sun column : "Let me be absolutely clear - there is no defence for Kurt Zouma’s actions.
"I, like anyone who watched the video that circulated this week, was shocked by what I saw.
"Kurt’s behaviour in no way reflected the standards and values that we hold dear at West Ham United – and of course those of our pet-loving nation.
"Our stance on this as a Club has been clear from the very outset - we unreservedly condemn his actions and would never condone any form of cruelty towards animals.
"We have acted swiftly to fine him the maximum amount available to us."
Zouma has also seen hit boot deal with Adidas terminated whilst West Ham have seen sponsors suspend their associations.

Richard Keys has hit out at Karren Brady while claiming the West Ham United vice-chairman has attempted to "excuse" defender Kurt Zouma for his off-field actions.
Sharing the headline from Brady's column on Twitter, Richard Keys said "This is hilarious. When did you decide this was the case @karren_brady ? Was it when you realised a £30m asset might get cancelled?"
"It is ridiculous for @westham & @karren_brady to try to excuse Zouma," he continued.
"No - it’s not like a driving offence. There are consequences for that - you get banned for a year.
"Zouma is still playing. He’ll earn another £250,000 in a fortnight. It’s a disgrace. He shouldn’t be playing."

David Moyes opted to bring Kurt Zouma back in v Newcastle after the defender dropped out during the warm-up at Leicester last week with illness, and with his inclusion still a talking point following the furore over the video of him kicking a cat.
His early touches were booed by the visiting fans, but that was countered by a song in support from the home faithful at London Stadium, and the centre-back did not seem fazed during a physical battle with Newcastle forward Chris Wood.

West Ham have donated Kurt Zouma's club fine to nine animal welfare charities.
The Premier League club fined Zouma a reported £250,000 after videos emerged on social media of him slapping and kicking one of his pet cats last month.
The RSPCA took the 27-year-old's cats into care after the incident.
Cats Protection, People's Dispensary for Sick Animals, Pussycat Lodge Trust, Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, National Animal Welfare Trust and Celia Hammond Animal Trust will benefit domestically.
Humane Society International/UK, International Fund Animal Welfare and War Paws are the three international causes receiving donations from the Hammers.
"Our team at the West Ham United Foundation conducted a detailed and thorough process to identify the charities who would substantially benefit from a financial contribution," said a Hammers statement.
"West Ham United would like to thank everyone who contacted the club to propose animal welfare charities and good causes, ensuring that a huge positive has come from something negative."

He scored an own goal against Spurs. He was then caught on camera, chasing the ball round and round the penalty box, chucking his boots at it.

Not Related to the Zouma Incident But Similar:
A man has been fined after being filmed kicking a hedgehog several times.
Footage of David Herring, 53, of Manor Road, Sudbury, in Suffolk, kicking the animal several times in November last year, was sent to the RSPCA.
The RSPCA said the hedgehog was kicked with "considerable force", causing "pain and fear", with Herring showing a "clear disregard for a wild animal".
At Colchester Magistrates' Court he admitted causing unnecessary suffering and was fined £277.
Herring was also ordered to pay £300 costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
Images caught on camera showed him moving the hedgehog from a doorway and kicking it several times out of a driveway of a property in Sudbury.
Speaking after the case on 6 April, RSPCA inspector Caroline Richardson, said: "Having reviewed video footage it was clear the hedgehog was kicked with considerable force.
"The final kick can clearly be heard on the camera footage. The hedgehog rolls at speed several metres, out of sight.
"An expert vet who examined the footage said the hedgehog would have suffered unnecessarily during this time and the suffering would have extended beyond the time of the kicking if an injury was caused. [The vet] believed the suffering caused was due to pain and fear.
"This was an incident which showed a clear disregard for a wild animal," she added.
In mitigation, the court heard Herring was of previous good character, that he had had a heart attack within the last year and had been under stress.
His legal team said Herring had initially thought the hedgehog was a rat.

West Ham defender Kurt Zouma has been charged with three offences under the Animal Welfare Act after allegedly harming his cat.
Zouma's brother Yoan, who plays for Dagenham and Redbridge, has been charged with two alleged offences following an RSPCA investigation.
Yoan, 23, filmed 27-year-old Kurt kicking and slapping one of his pets.
The Zouma brothers are set to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court on Tuesday for a first hearing.
After the video appeared in February, the RSPCA removed two cats from Kurt's home and began liaising with Essex Police about the incident.
The RSPCA continues to care for the two cats.
Kurt is accused of two counts of causing "unnecessary suffering" to the cat by kicking it in the abdomen and slapping it in the head.
He is also charged with failing to protect the cat from "pain suffering, injury or disease".
Yoan is accused of two counts of "aiding, abetting, counselling or procuring" Kurt to commit the offence of causing unnecessary suffering to the cat.
Kurt was fined a reported £250,000 and was dropped by a number of sponsors, but continued to play for the Hammers.
Yoan has not played for Dagenham and Redbridge since 29 January.

West Ham United defender Kurt Zouma has pleaded guilty to kicking and slapping his pet cat in a video that also showed him saying "I swear I'll kill it".
The 27-year-old admitted two offences under the Animal Welfare Act at a hearing at Thames Magistrates' Court.
Zouma's brother Yoan, who plays for Dagenham and Redbridge, admitted one offence after an RSPCA investigation.
Yoan, 24, filmed the incident, which was posted on social media. Sentencing has been adjourned to 1 June.
The brothers' addresses were withheld following a court order.
The court was told about disturbing footage of the incident, which was filmed at the West Ham player's home and posted on Snapchat with 'laughing' emojis by his brother on 6 February.
It was later seen by a woman who had been messaging Yoan, and she raised concern.
Zouma could be seen volleying the Bengal cat across his kitchen, before throwing a pair of shoes at it and slapping its head. Prosecutor Hazel Stevens told the court Kurt could be heard saying: "I swear I'll kill it, I swear I'll kill it."
He admitted two counts of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.
Yoan admitted one count of aiding, abetting, counselling or procuring his older brother to commit an offence.
The woman who saw the clip was so shocked that she called off their date, telling him: "I don't think hitting a cat like that is OK - don't bother coming today."
Stevens said the offences appeared to be carried out after the cats were deemed responsible for damaging a chair in the home.
"Kurt Zouma is determined to chastise or carry out some sort of retribution for the damage caused," she said.
"Since this footage was put in the public domain there has been a spate of people hitting cats and posting it on various social media sites."

Send him down to Longleat. See how he gets on, kicking and slapping the cats there. Hopefully, his brother will film it.

West Ham United defender Kurt Zouma has been ordered to carry out 180 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty to kicking and slapping his cat.
The 27-year-old has also been banned from keeping cats for five years.
He had admitted two offences under the Animal Welfare Act at a hearing at Thames Magistrates' Court in May.
Zouma's brother Yoan, who plays for Dagenham and Redbridge, was ordered to carry out 140 hours of community service at the 15-minute hearing.
The case was brought following an RSPCA investigation.
Yoan admitted one count of aiding, abetting, counselling or procuring his older brother to commit an offence.
"Both of you took part in this disgraceful and reprehensible act with this pet cat," said district judge Susan Holdham.
"The cat looked up to you to care for its needs. On that date in February you did not provide for its needs. You must be aware that others look up to you and many young people aspire to emulate you."
Yoan, 24, filmed the incident at his older brother's home and posted it on Snapchat with 'laughing' emojis on 6 February.
The court heard Yoan, whose contract with Dagenham and Redbridge has been extended, had 80 followers on Snapchat, and only five accounts viewed it before it was deleted a few minutes after being posted.
Kurt was also told to pay court costs of nearly £9,000 in addition to the 12-month community order.
"We are pleased there has been swift justice in this awful case and our focus now is matching these beautiful cats to the loving homes they deserve," said RSPCA chief inspectorate officer Dermot Murphy.
"This case sends a really clear message that animals should never be treated like this, and posting videos of animals being harmed on social media for likes is abhorrent.
"We believe teaching children to treat animals with kindness will lead to a more compassionate society. We need positive role models to help us do that."

Kurt Zouma: West Ham offer £25,000 for information after defender's house burgled..
ichef.bbci.co.uk/onesport/cps/976/cpsprodpb/1024/production/_131923140_gettyimages-1676586718.jpg Kurt Zouma joined West Ham from Chelsea for £29.8m in August 2021West Ham have offered a £25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of burglars who broke into Kurt Zouma's home. Thieves broke in before Sunday's game with Crystal Palace while the defender and his family were in the house. No-one was harmed but "items of significant value and of huge personal and sentimental importance" were taken. "To have someone break into your home is a terrifying experience," said West Ham joint-chair David Sullivan. "I hope this reward will help bring the individuals to justice and prevent others from going through a similar ordeal." Zouma, 29, did not play in the match against Palace, which finished 1-1 at London Stadium.
