It was a question to you. You keep writing of your disdain for KP, Bambi, AMPG, Epping, me, this forum generally, and then write that you have no inclination to get into a discussion. I can't see the point. That's why I'm here, to get into discussions. Why not try it - you used to? I'll ignore the whining about a 'hissy fit' I'm not having as personal nonsense. Disdain? Not me. It's fun to read varying views about the players, football, tactics, ref/linesmen etc and to see others' opinions and memories of past games and seasons. The rest of it bores me these days. I'm with Epping here: don't want to be in any club. |

You said (remarkably, some my say unbelievably) that you and loads of others caught Covid from a Rovers game and showed symptoms the next morning and were all staying away. As for the figures, you have a different opinion to me. Again, don't have the time or inclination to get into a discussion. No i did not, i said the person i was with got it but that i found out a fair few others (6) to be precise for you, who had got it but if it pleases you to change what i said then carry on. |

It’s well identified AMPG and when i brought it up, in yet another presidents club thread, you saw them line up, all apart from one but he has always been more dignified and over it, than any of the others. |

I'm with Epping here: don't want to be in any club. This is where we differ Doc because (as you know too well) I don't think we'll ever have a successful football club until we get our house in order business wise. And if we don't see the need to do that or to constantly strive to be successful then we'll keep sliding backwards. I do hear that new business management appointments will soon be announced so perhaps Colonel Gibson's review is having an effect ? What I am hoping for is a complete change of philosophy and not the bringing in of people for purely cosmetic reasons just to lend a hand to Tom Gorringe. What we need are people with experience of successfully developing and implementing strategies to achieve business goals and in Rovers case our primary goal must be to run our business more efficiently than our competitors. This is the only way we'll ever be able to realise our potential and not be constantly left behind by other clubs leaving only our memories to fall back on. |

I`m sure that Mr TWD was convinced that God was trying to tell us something. If only we were intelligent enough to be able to understand. I think you will find no such thing as he doesn’t do religion. Aha, that`s just where you`re wrong. Ever since he laid hands on the Taunton shroud, ( a bit like the Turin shroud, only closer to home) he`s been a changed man. I think this is most wise. I don`t believe in God myself, but neither do I believe in risking offending Him.

Not really alarming at all. Christmas, division 4 and Covid. After all, you said that "loads" were staying away because of it. Not sure where the empirical evidence is for that, but whatever. If you don’t think its alarming then I’d bet Mr Gorringe and Wael would be worried by it. Winning football draws the punters. I know I’d rather watch the Gas playing well and winning in, say L1 than gerring turned over every week in the Championship. I wouldn’t mind if we could regularly do a Rotherham, 2 seasons to get out of L1,1season in the Champ then a couple of more seasons striving for promotion. At least there would be regular excitement, rather than the slow decline we seem to suffer every time we get to L 1. |
