Sold 1,600 with 350 still left. Hopefully they'll get snapped up soon. Will be leaving Bristol around 10:30am. Where can I get a drink around the ground?

Pubs are at bottom of the massive hill, in Nailsworth according to the away grounds website.

Approximately 25 minutes walk up the hill, they do have their own pub but I don't know if they allow in away support.

I'm confused. On our official website we have sold out? Are these forest green home tickets ? I've never seen anything to say we've sold out. We did sell the first batch behind the goal, and are now on to the side terrace, but that was a while back. This is the update today: www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/forest-green-final-1836264.aspxHowever, it gets a bit confusing if you go to the 'tickets' - 'away tickets' - section of the website. Guess I shouldn't be surprised: www.bristolrovers.co.uk/tickets/away_tickets/"CURRENT AWAY TICKETS ON SALE: THERE ARE NO AWAY TICKETS CURRENTLY ON SALE"

I don't know whether FGR have any special arrangements in place, but normally...
Parking is available at the ground, from memory it costs about £4, you will be asked when you go into the car park whether you are leaving straight after the match, in which case you be parked blocking in someone who has said they will be staying for a pint afterwards. Last time I went, you could also park at the school next door for about the same price, but space there is limited..
The pub at the ground is decent with the usual beers, but of course no meat products on sale, don't forget that!
The hill up from Nailsworth is very steep if you decide to use the town and walk up..FGR is a very friendly club.
Good luck
Tim

Park at the bottom of the hill and be prepared to walk up a long hill I went there to watch them play a friendly against Arsenal's Academy. I think they have a (school?) car park that they open up near the ground, but there was a bus that stopped up there from the centre of Nailsworth too; the 46 from Stroud maybe? www.stagecoachbus.com/timetables.aspx?serviceid=&locationId=0&from=gloucester&to=stroud It is a long hike up there! Nice little ground though.

Is it easy to park in the town centre and catch a taxi?

Got mine an hour or so ago and apparently we've sold nearly 1800 out of an allocation of 1975, still with Saturday to go.

so FGR drew 900 in their last home game and we have sold 1800 OMG ....that is clearly quite remarkable ...nice pub at bottom of Hill The Britannia ...be warned the locals may not take kindly to an invasion and the parking will be very difficult believe me ..its a killer of a hill to walk up ...I suspect Glos police will be out in big numbers with even bigger police horses ...for those with electric cars there are 3 charging units in the car park entrance easy to park there and let it take 90 mins to charge your car may be the best place to be....their club car park takes about 100 max cars but they have a super wind turbine close by ...enjoy the trip
