No 2 Alan Smith No 1 Michael Thomas. Hilarious. I still don't think Smith touches that to this day. Why didn't Barnes go in the corner? For Thomas charging through the midfield, it's up for grabs nooowww.... Probably Brian Moore's best ever commentary. McMahon saying one minute to everyone. Aldridge not shaking O'Leary's hand.

But wait a minute, here come Arsenal... Priceless, far better than Citeh Vs QPR's 10 players as it was between the 2 teams involved in the race to the title, and nobody beat Liverpool at home by 2 goals at that time, it just didn't happen . Now, if I could only remember which idiot got himself sent off for QPR that day?

Kevin Richardson stayed down with cramp for ages. Already a champion with Everton and should really have been so again with Villa in 93. I love that Arsenal team now, though I absolutely hated them at the time. The Rocky documentary on BT is great, all the old footage from that time. They had an amazing away record that season. They were hungry for it and thoroughly deserved it. Liverpool had SUCH a good team, and had been unbeaten for about 15 games winning 14, just after Hillsborough and they won the cup the week before. I love the togetherness and fight of Arsenal, players like Merson, Groves, Davis, Thomas, Rocastle. Fair play.

Gossip:
Liverpool's owners are willing to fund a big-money transfer in January if manager Jurgen Klopp and the club's recruitment team find the right player.
Liverpool boss Klopp says he wanted to sign Arsenal's Martin Odegaard, 23, for previous club Borussia Dortmund but the Norway playmaker chose to join Real Madrid.
