The trouble is it was never dealt with properly and people like this are allowed to continue in the game as if nothing happened True. There’s also the problem that some with lots of cash don’t have massive alarm bells when hiring people. I mean you would think links to alleged corruption, gambling addictions and bans, murder trials, various assaults - plus all the insider knowledge on match-fixing “our Joey” has - according to the interview above, would set off some pretty major alarm bells. It’s a bit like Line of Duty when you dig into it!

Blimey. Not saying anyone is guilty, that is the job of the courts, but perhaps too many questionable characters are getting associated with our club atm. I’d hope the people /person who makes the call over recruiting our leaders is/are a good judge of character and is able to discriminate between honest and reputable people and bullsh******. But I’m a bit worried! 🤔

Is Eddy Jennings actually employed by the club and if so what is his job title and who is his direct line manager ? None of that is relevant, he's Barton's minder. I wonder if his wife has one? If Barton needs a minder, could he not have gone for a more local one? David Pipe is looking for work.

Eddy Jennings is a minder. Some gullible people think he's a DOF. And a handful to boot. One of my close friends knows him and he has some very interesting things to say.

I have real concerns ... Allegedly, Barton talked about the training ground costing much more than it should have and ... Come to think of it, has anyone ever seen Swissgas and Barton in the same room??? lol 😂🤣👌🏻

Is he acting as the intermediary between players signed and BRFC as well as being Barton's agent, which removes any normal governance / separation of responsibilities over what players earn and who gets what in terms of salary? The signings have been generally woeful this summer to the point you have to wonder if some of them are here for the benefit of BRFC or if there’s a different agenda at play. Or did somebody really look at Mark Hughes and Nick Anderton and think there’s the nucleus of a promotion winning back line? If Jennings is involved there are now so many people with their fingers in the pie here delivering sod all you have to wonder if Wael has more money than sense. He must be a salesman’s dream. He probably has his double glazing replaced every 6 months and is waiting on a stack of ppi claims to come through

So is Wael aware of ALL the fingers in the pie? Interesting question, you strike me as someone who only asks questions he knows the answers to Vaughan?

It's like they're all on a gap year for the 'experience' with the help of a players trafficker,

Because all the top clubs in the north west were queuing up to sign them And it’s not like Bristol is a thriving, fashionable city like, say, Accrington or Bolton

It's like they're all on a gap year for the 'experience' with the help of a players trafficker, It's quite common for players who are single, or have not relocated their families, to share accommodation. It is a better option than living in a hotel for months on end. Quite a few of the players under DC shared houses and it didn't seem to bother anybody then.
