I have real concerns in the area of vested interests, if he is essentially both Barton's agent (historically) and now responsible for recruiting players.
There are some rumours starting to circulate that I don't like. Trust is in short supply right now, based on these rumours.
From a very trustworthy source who was present, there was a "discussion" between 4 mature fans and Barton, Warner and one or 2 others after Saturday's game in the car park. Allegedly, Barton talked about the training ground costing much more than it should have and that he did not need the job because of his bank balance, all in response to a fan who wanted to know about patterns of play and winning football games. "Utterly bizarre behaviour" was the description of the incident by my source.

Other supporters have complained about his behaviour on the sidelines since he’s been with us Eddie Jennings is a useful character witness I’m sure both are here as the best there are for their jobs and being scouse mates of Joey is purely a coincidence. I’m sure the reams of pro goalkeepers expressing their admiration for David Coles when he left us were eating their words when they realised his replacement was THE Tony Warner

Yes, imagine where we’d be with a lesser keeper

Eddy Jennings is a minder.
Some gullible people think he's a DOF.

He’s been at fault for a couple but I meant for the wins we have he’s kept us in it. I’d need to be convinced Warner is any more than another gobby mate of Joeys but time will tell I guess

he did not need the job because of his bank balance, Good to hear he's solved his own gambling problems. Now all he needs to do is stop gambling the league position of BRFC and resign.

You little tinker! Is his job to get Joeybag into fights or keep him out of them? If the former then he's probably doing his job?

Is he acting as the intermediary between players signed and BRFC as well as being Barton's agent, which removes any normal governance / separation of responsibilities over what players earn and who gets what in terms of salary?

The trouble is it was never dealt with properly and people like this are allowed to continue in the game as if nothing happened
